I have been using that tool wrong forever i thought both ends go into the tool I've always made it work, but it was scarry as hell when I pushed it off with a screw driver lol I got to do this again on my truck so I'll do it right this time lol

You should show how to attach the spring compressor to the spring. And show yourself compress the spring and de compress it. Not just talk about it.

Thanks for the tutorial. I could not get the compressor tool to collapse the spring short enough to fit into the slot. I ended up using 6 zip ties to collapse the spring using a vise. It's a bit dangerous, But I quickly inserted the spring, wedged it in, started cutting the zip ties, and 5 minutes later it was secure with the zip ties removed. Your camera work really helped a lot. Thankfully my hinge pins are in good shape. They are a lot easier to take out and install without having to remove the door. Have a great day. GB
