In the US super cruise is the best Autonomous driving system out Right now. Escalade is the hottest SUV on the market outselling Mercedes, BMW and Range Rove 8 -1 all while being just as expensive as any of those SUVs

Well, I am disappointed by the Escalade's super cruise. The problem is that it relies on the lidar maps. GM says that it would work on major freeways. Well it does and does not. What I mean is that there are many places on these major freeways that it does not work. I live in Seattle area and on I-5, I-90 and I-405 there are many places, about a few miles apart that super cruse does NOT work. It says that there is no map available and no road information. GM needs to solve this. This is happening on the major freeways too many times. So the end result is that super cruse is not reliable at all. GM pleas fix this lidar map issues.

Subaru will too with Eyesight X...auto lane change...my wife and I have had 3 Subarus...over a few years...and since eyesight became available...haven't gone without it...these type of features will become required by insurance companies someday...they already lower your premiums as it is...

I hate that car features are going the route of a subscription model. You pay to add the feature as an upgrade package, then you have to pay monthly to use it? Frustrating.
