GM Instrument Cluster Fuel Gauge Check Using Serial Terminal App & Phone With OBD2 Adapter

Testing fuel level gauge on a 2005 Yukon by sending Class II serial data instructions. The messages sent mimic the messages the PCM sends.
The 3 byte header is "A88310"
The secondary ID is "12".
And the fuel level is a hexadecimal value between "00" and "FF" where "00" is 0 percent and "FF" is 100 percent.

The Android application used here is a simple serial terminal program. Be aware it is just a terminal. Does not do anything other than that. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kai_morich.serial_bluetooth_terminal
