This is exactly why no high rated players play slow chess online. The amount of cheaters in slow chess is out of control. At least in blitz you can flag the cheaters that take forever each move as they're checking the engine.

As a neurodivergent chess player, attention to the clock is killer for me, so I'm often stuck in the difficult realm of losing in a winning position because of time, or playing at a higher time control and facing cheats. It's absolutely demoralizing.

I decided for me to Play only Blitz - 5 min. The reason is you Play more with INTUITION 💙 less with your head 🤯 no offense Simon, you i mean all chess players should only RELAX - no thinking at ALL EMPTY YOUR MIND 😉 because when your are really relaxed(music - is a GOOD idea) your Soul (INTUITION) works ONLY ! Simon, I love you and I have bought many of your products which I highly recommend but I have to say I disagree with you on this one. I am 1800 and I have played games rated at 93% and 94% (I do not recall 95% however). Nothing in the moves he played stand out to me He did play 5 inacuraccies and 4 'good' moves -don't know their system but a move rated as good if often quite dubious-. So that is 9 bad moves but no blunders.

Thats what I said!~. I once checkmated an IM on ICC in 7 moves. Obviously this isnt that but us crappy p[layers have our moments! Plus I could beat that guy that gm showed up too drunk to make a move.

I dunno. I just played a 96 percent accuracy game using my sons account. He's 1300 but I can't really be more than 1800. Im an incredibly inconsistent (aka shitty) player and yes im better than 1300 but sometimes mediocre players play great. It listed my player level as 2150 =but I did not cheat!

Playing against a lower level opponent, probably a line you know well. Not against a GM playing a less-common opening.

I just searched up their game, the guy he reported got banned & so did the person he played the game before this. So ya the cheater did beat him, but at the cost of their account😂
