Playing 3+0 while spending a minute of your time explaining what the hell is happening on the screen, pondering, trying to remember lyrics from Riders of The Storm is a true GingerGm style

Hello Simon, loved these games thanks for sharing. For the black lion, i've stopped going g5 systematically, in many lines my king gets exposed via pawn swaps on e5 and i usually don't get enough of an attack to make up for the exposed king. I wish you would create a new Black Lion video course, with coverage of the pawn exchange on d5 lines i think its the Lion Lair lines, and coverage of how to play the same system against d4, the Black Lion authors say it works against d4 too but i wonder if you recommend it?

Around 1:42 white bishop on h4 is attacked by the black pawn and white then moves his pawn to f4. Then the black pawn takes the white pawn on f4. Can someone tell me why the black pawn can't just take the white bishop?
@seanm31895 жыл бұрын
Nobody: Simon: im so ahead. I could win the queen and I am completely winning. Best way to continue? Spend 2 minutes trying to make the best move and not a good move... and end up making the good move anyways haha. Almost losing on the clock, thats the simon we've grown to love
@stevesidare24934 жыл бұрын
I was going to say "why did you resign?", but then I saw the Bishop fork on f4 after a bit of time. That's why I don't do well with short-timed games!

I'm an 800 player and I think I spotted an insane tactic at 5:24 but not 100% sure. Rook takes bishop on d7

Wow I actually did... just put it in on the analisys board. He would have to give up his queen. Cant believe I actually spotted that in real time O.o
