Cool video's. I'm getting ready to redo my 2003 Tahoe Z71 auto climate control, radio, wiper switch and pretty much the entire dash with new LED's. Your video's are definitely helpful. Thanks for making them.

Do I need 3mm or 5mm for dome switch, fog light switch, window switches, and climate control. Also how do you change the bulbs from a ceiling climate control in 2001 Tahoe

Thanks for the videos. What kind of tester are you using? These bulbs have a positive and negative polarity, right?

how many watts does the soldering iron have to have to be able to melt the lights to put in and out of circuits? thanks

Just took my cargo/fog light swich apart today in preperation for the leds. I noticed when I shine a led flash light threw it it lights up a blue color. So when converted to led instead of being white it will be blue. So the question is would yellow led make it light up white. Do to the original bulbs being yellowish and the swich itself filleting the yellow out. Unlike the other bulbs with the blue caps.

What about the small 3ish mm LED? Is it included in the kit you sell? Or do you know the value of the bulb?

No the led is not in the kit. The kit is only for the backlighting and I have never had to replace one.

I just bench tested mine. Pin A is 12-14v, Pin B is ground and mine lit. R2 in my board is a pull down resistor so I’d figure its a standard old skool yellow 5v LED
