I promptly destroyed my temperature sliders when I did mine. An alternative strategy is to cut the plastic knobs off and replace them with new ones. Car radio bulbs sells those too.

1 video i watched talked about not turning this box over when you have the back off as a metal disk and spring will fall out so if you're just replacing the bulb leave box face down still you have it all screwed back together.

Replaced my bulbs with LEDs this past weekend. The only leds that light are the two middle ones for the slides and the top right one on the circuit board. My first attempt plugging them in, something was smoking due due a bad solder and shorted out. I have looked at everything and can’t seem to find the issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

how did you make your bench tester for the DDM? I cannot find where the dimmer circuit goes through on the DDM. Curious if it operates on a signal in the class 2 data line. the rear swtiches and the PDM are easy enough to do but I have been struggling for months to build a bench tester for the driver door module.

Took me a while to find this video, mostly because there are two different climate control assemblies associated with 2003 Silverado. Your video helped me greatly. The last frame that showed the power connections allowed me to do the final test of bulbs once installed. The assembly is ready to go back into my Chevy. Thanks for your clear and helpful video.

It is important for those who wants to put a bright light leds instead of incandescent lamps. Firstly you need to find the electrics "+" track. The plus (+) one is the path that goes from the center (under the 💡) of the board to the edge of the board. This is true for two locations of 💡bulbs and tracks. And it will be much more lighter in the case if you'll use leds. I did it with the green 🟢 leds and it's really great! If you'll change the bulb💡of the mirror switch, the "+' line is the line ➖ with just two 2⃣ contacts. One contact is next to the bulb and another one is the othe side of this line. That's it.

I've Tahoe from 2000. Great video, thanks! A small addition to this video: I did not cut off the bulbs, I carefully drilled two holes (one for each 💡) on the back side and got access to work with a soldering iron. The hole is about 7 mm, as you'll feel to get a comfortable access.
