I'm sorry, but I'm a little surprised with: 1. Golden State with no yellow/gold? 2. Matching colors with NBA closest rival Sacramento Kings 3. An arena where eveything could have been the same colors for either team for a sense of one didn't happen for some reason 4. Hopefully logo will grow on me, but a woman with a helmet and wings would have been fire Go V's!

There’s an argument to be had to not completely match the Warriors. Naming sure but colors? They need their own identity. Otherwise, they’ll be just the Warriors women edition.

They were women who picked men warriors off the battlefield, after they were killed and then brought to their 'god', in valhalla (Heaven is a earthy name). Sounds kinda like, uh, 'witches' work🤔.

I would never allow a team to move to my city if they didn't use the name of my city in there team name,,as if the golden state warriors is not bad enough,,now u so called geniuses add to the misery naming this franchise the golden state valkeries...smh.....In fact,,not only does these names leave spectators confused on what city the team is actually from,,but it also makes bayarea sports fans less enthusiastic and nonsupportive.....In fact,,a team with a broad name like golden state does not represent the bayarea enough to make me want to support them,,true sports fans want to hear there city in the name of the team,,not a name that represents a whole state...duh 🤪 ...Absolutely Pathetic...smh.......Also,,as far as I'm concerned the warriors and the valkeries are not true bayarea teams,,they are teams that belong to the whole state,,in which kills the city vs city rivalries that make fans excited and supportive....Once again,,this broad golden state name that represents the whole state of California,,and does not have an exclusive bayarea city name,,makes the bayarea sports fans not want to support such a boring nameless team with no city identity.............Absolutely Pathetic names,,and like I said,,I would never allow a sports franchise to move to my city,,if they did not include the name of my city in there team name......😳
