Hey Joy, ever hear of Derek Rose, Greg Oden, Jay Williams? One injury and your done, son...talk to Joe Theisman or Daryl Stingley's son, if the cheap shots continue as the refs allow, CC will get low bridged and it's over. So don't tell me wait 4, 8, or 12 years.

The problem is take those players out she still wouldn’t make it. These women were already working out and practicing for this, they’ve been there they know how this works. Caitlin is mad fragile right now she still learning her way through the W and you want her to play in the Olympics?!?! Please. Let this woman work her way through the W first see if she can hold up to that physicality. It’s like they won’t let her grow. Then her coach put CC quote out there only for her to get totally locked by Carrington again

Diana Taurasi had slightly worse results, as a rookie in 2004, and was selected for the Olympic team. The argument is thin to say she doesn’t belong on the team. If they REALLY picked the “best” twelve players, four or five of those ladies wouldn’t have made that team.

And then you have Caitling clark with similar stats if not better ( 16.8 ppg and 6.3 ast in first 12 games) But she is not selected. Somehow, now, USA needs experience and the best 12 , and a team of players who know each other. Apparently not in 2004, 2008 nor in 2016.

Where you and Joy are missing the point is people only want "the idea of Caitlin" she doesnt have to play or dictate anything other than having her name on the roster.
