Laettner was a decent player but if they wanted to put a college player on the team it obviously should've been SHAQ. Yeah, Laettner was a great white hope.

Laettner was a serial winner (21-2 in NCAA Tournament games), one of the great big game players in college history. Sheq was a loser until he hooked up with Kobe and Jackson late in his career.

@@RayManzarekRocks Laettner won one NCAA title. Shaq won four NBA titles. One NBA title equals three NCAA titles so Shaq essentially was 12 times the winner that Laettner ever was.

@@keenannorris3309Laettner won TWO national championships (1991, 1992) and was runner-up for a third (1990). While he was there, Duke won 83 percent of its regular-season games and 91 percent (21-2) of its NCAAA Tournament games. Shaq didn't win jack in college or the pros until he hooked up with Kobe and Jackson later in his career.

What's hard to understand about ratings lol?? 1. You have a marketable product 2. You show and make that marketable product available 3. People tune in and buy the product 4. You get ratings

She is not speaking emotionally. Dare I say that people all over the world will be tuned in to watch the Olympics. Maybe you were not aware of this. With that being said even if viewership was low, winning a gold medal period and legitimately being able to say you are the best in the world is more important than viewership or popularity.
