Don't forget Cosworth, they're the ones who made the engines for the GMA T50, T50s and T33 as well as the engine for the Aston Martin Valkyrie. They are also supposedly developing a V10 for the Adrian Newey designed RB17 road car and the V16 for the upcoming Bugatti Chiron successor. Cosworth is giving enthusiasts the perfect swansong for the internal combustion engine. (Now if only Yamaha could give us one last V10 or V12 engine for a road car along with maybe a turbocharged inline 6 capable of 4 figure power outputs)
@andrewday32069 ай бұрын
@@CyanRooper Have you seen the technology that closes the air intake to the compressor side of the turbocharger? This is closed during off throttle periods. It basically makes the compressor starved of air so there is less resistance. This keeps the blades spinning with little energy. When throttle is opened again the turbo is already spinning at speed.

It’s the advantage of lowering the displacement well below the average, you get that high pitched F1-esque sound. The truth is that the emissions on this V12 are better than every V8 car on sale today too.
