Covid 19 is miserable. I was sick for over 2 months and admitted to the ICU for 2 weeks. And unfortunately since I contracted it back in early April my immunity has dissipated so I’m now reliant on others being mask protocol compliant to help keep me safe again (I’m a recent cancer treatment patient). My sense of taste has yet to fully return and I’m still working with a respiratory therapist. And I’m 40. Please remember, wearing a mask isn’t just about you.

Don’t worry, this has already been disproven. Leading scientists have already said that decreased antibody presence in the blood does not mean that you aren’t able to fight it off or avoid it again. It actually comes down to your T cell response which will recognize the virus.

I'm so happy she got better. I'm in my early 20s and, despite taking as much precautions as I possibly could while still having to work, caught it back in April. Absolutely the worst, the sickest I've ever been. At one point, I passed out while trying to power through chores and gave myself a concussion in addition to all of the other symptoms. Of course I unknowingly infected my parent that I live with, too, and they ended up much worse and in the hospital. Happy they're home and okay, but this is no joke. It is an awful, awful disease. And I've had the flu, too - this is NOT the same thing!

Dr Fauci has stated that in his 40 years he has never seen a virus where 14-40% of the population that be carrying the virus infecting others and show no symptoms. That is the crux of what is scary about COVID-19, you do not know who has it and since this country is not doing enough testing and virtually no contact tracing. 14 up to 40% of the population could be carrying this across the whole country. COVID-19 is now going to be a part of our lives for decades to come because our government did not take it seriously in the beginning and now the citizens are not either.

So sorry to hear about your grandma. I too have had two respiratory illnesses between March and now. In March I had a bronchitis infection with general breathing and congestion difficulties that for me started with a fever and moderately sore throat, both went away and the congestion and shortness of breath presented. It was a sickness that began with my mother-in-law who stays with my family and went around the house, though she tested negative for the virus. Then in mid-May I got sick off a coworker and felt even worse. I had a very light fever and general malaise kind of feeling, then a week later I had severe shortness of breath, difficulty breathing with strong downward-feeling pressure on my chest, a tolerable headache, brain fog, and this burning in my eyes like bad allergies. I got over the brain fog and headache after about 3-5 days, but the breathing struggles and the burning eyes lasted all the way from the beginning til the end of June and I still have a few minor relapses. One of those illnesses probably was the COVID-19, even though I tested negative during the second illness. This is such a weird virus.

KLS- 95 so when healthy people get sick, they feel really bad like this young lady. When sicker people get sick, sometimes they recover and sometimes they die. Not too hard to imagine... nearly 150,000 people have died, most with underlying health problems. The healthy ones like this one make a video documentary about the time they felt bad and got all better and it was scary. It’s life as a human pretty much. You get sick and bad things happen and eventually you get so sick it kills you or you get in an accident and die. Same story for every human ever made. Try not to think about it too much! 7 billion people on earth alive today are gonna die in the next 100 years. Many slowly and painfully. It’s very sad.

My dad is an essential worker and is exposed to everything. One day he came out of work and had a fever. My dad normally never gets sick and if he does, he never gets fevers. My mom had to take care of him for 3 days and we started suspecting it was the virus. The fourth day my mom too became ill and my 24 year old cousin that lives with me also got sick. So I had to take care of my little 4 year old brother at the time and cook for all five of us while doing my homeschooling. My mother got worse and at one point looked like she was about to let go and it was the hardest thing I could’ve ever seen. She wanted to stay home because we didn’t want to infect anyone else. My Dad got better and started cooking for us. My little brother was fine during all this, I’d make him watch every Disney movie and he loved it. Then I lost my sense of smell and taste. But thank the Lord Jesus Christ because those were the only two symptoms I had. I never had a fever or anything. My dad tests negative so the virus surpassed his system. My mother on the other hand got better but still tested positive so she has to wait 15 more days to test again. I had to be in my room and whoever came out of their room had to put a mask on. After all of this I went to get my antibodies test and I came back as positive to having antibodies. Thank the Lord for saving my family. I am 16 years old. Thank you for the support. And thank you for your time reading this. May God bless you all.

@Jay Slays you're a moron bro. Try walking down the street and breathing throw a straw in your mouth, that's basically part of what it feels like. I'm a medical professional who sees post covid19 patients every day, many are in their early 30s, who can't even walk from the parking lot to our building without becoming completely short of breath. Most can't keep their oxygen sats above 90% without a liter or 2 of oxygen, their heart rates are hovering at 110 bpm at rest, they can't walk half a block without putting themselves in a cardiac induced emergency. Their heart rates jump to the 140s to 150s, bordering on screwing themselves over. Easy on the bleach drinking.

I know it sucks to wear a mask, but it reduces infections greatly. The alternative would be to order everyone to stay at home and get food delivered. I would much rather be able to go wherever I like (except very densely populated areas) in a mask than be ordered to stay at home. I hope those fools throwing parties would stop soon, it's bad for everyone. It's not just about elderly people dying, it's about the restrictions and closures too. The faster we eliminate the virus the faster we'll be able to safely open all schools and businesses.

I’m so glad that she is healthy and safe, but what people don’t understand is that you having a mask, and going to see people who have not contracted the virus doesn’t mean you won’t get it, anyone or any surface could be contaminated but not internally, it could be on your clothing or phone etc, and when you are in contact with the person or object that has it on them, then that’s how you get it. So basically just be careful and try not to touch so much stuff if it’s not yours.

My mom's coworker has passed away today, after 3 weeks in the hospital. The first time I met him in person is when my dad dropped me and my brother off to his house to help him prepare for a party while my dad cuts the grass in his property in cottonwood. Me and my brother helped set up tables and chairs in the patio and then uprooted the weeds and cleared the chopped branches. After the hours went by, out dad came to pick us up, and the man, (his name is moe), paid us 20 dollars each, and then we left not knowing in that day is the first and last time we'll ever see him in person. As months passed, my mom told me that moe contracted COVID-19 and is staying at the hospital, but after 3 weeks in care moe has passed away after his family said their final goodbyes to him. Everything felt surreal for a moment as I was thinking back when we first met and knowing today that he died, and with mom mourning his death is the day that I'll never forget. Rest In Peace - Moe The man I knew for one day And great family man from England.

That why it was said. To upsaid you.Regardless the sad story, of all that suffered. Every other year massive numbers of our elderly with underlaying mortal diseases die of one of the ILI (Influenza Like Diseases) between end of september and beginning of april. This year there are no additional excess deaths compared to the past ten years. The IFR (infection fatility rate) of covid19 is according to the WHO and CDC 0.13%. Normal flu seasons ILI have an IFR between 0.1 and 0.2%. Worldwide the mortality caused by the flu has been decimated and replaced by covid19. How thruthfull is that? I mean the flu gone after millions of years making us sick? Come on! Let's stick to the facts please? According to the RIVM, the Dutch CDC, the Netherlands have an annual avarage of 6500 flu deaths dying of ILI. They explain on their website that in 2020, there were only 400 flu ILI deaths and that this is caused because these other 6100 deaths probably were registered as Covid19 deaths, (which is also an ILI with Severe Accute Resperatoire Symptons). There are over a thousand medical scientific papers published on PUBMED, which conclude that medical face masks are not effective against airborne diseases at all. Although they stop droplets, they can't stop the aerosols causing the contamination by airborne diseases like ILI as the particles are only a few nanometers small which passes the holes in the masks. On the packaging of N95 medical masks which are far superior to the common masks used by the public, the description says, WARNING these mask are not protecting agains virusses. Other PPE as used agains virusses like Ebola, Marburg do work effecttive, but require so called white suits with mechanical air supply from external sources. Don't forget these diseases are 750 times more lethal as covid19. Luckely they are far less contageous. Thank God for that. Another fact is that the death rate per million for covid19 worldwide is comparible with the flu. This is consistant with the absence of additional excess deaths in the flu season and the sudden disappearence of the other ILI. PLEASE check the website of Worldometer.com for the covid19 deaths per million per country and find out yourself? Lockdowns have now scientifically been proven counter productive to reduce covid19 mortality. If you look at the Worldometer's deaths per million web page, you can see with a few mouse clicks that the countries and states in the US with the toughest lockdown measures have the highest numers of deaths per million. In Europe, Belgium the capitol of Europe with extreem lockdown measures ranks on number three in the world leading with over 800 per million, followed by Spain, also with extreme measures enforced by the military patrolling the streets. Countries without lock downs like Taiwan, s Korea, Iceland and Sweden are doing far better. The reason so many people die in the elderly homes is because many of the elder are allready terminally ill, but also live in badly ventilated homes, where aerosol forming causes fatal virusloads for the elder and the nursing personel. Lockdowns are harmfull because you can only be infected inside aereas where virusloads by aerosol forming can be build up in the air. In order to save money, the air treatment is recirculated instead of refreshed with cold fresh air from outside which needs to be heated in winter time. In tropical aereas there are other conditions allowing infections by build up virusloads. Air conditioning and rainshower walls seems to play a role here as well as lowered immunity due unhealthy food caused by poverty. Why are there such differences between death ratios per million? That is amongst here above mentioned lockdown measures, also caused by the covid19 registration procedures. Many countries have perverse incentives, causing death certificates to mention covid19, which otherwise would have mentioned the real cause of death. Approximately 90% of all registered covid19 deaths are having underlaying comorbidity like cancer, vasculair diseases, altsheimer, kidney diseases, diabetes etcetera. Before covid19, the death certificates would have mentioned these causes, not the ILI giving the final blow. Perverse stings like paying hospitals state funds if someone dies of covid19 are partly responsible. Other countries just gave new instructions to fill out the death certificates and allways mention covid19 as cause of death if the mandatory PCR test was positive. This to enable the government to monitor the development of covid19. Countries like Germany, Denmark and Norway for instance haven't changed their death certificate procedures. In these countries the covid19 deathrate according to Worldometer is a fraction of countries like Belgium and Spain. In the US there is a political perverse sting, which resulted in extreme high numbers in democrat states and low numbers in republican states. Death rate overall in the US is comparible with France around 600 per million. More important is that the excess death total, caused by ILI at the flu season or for the same annual, stayed the same as the avarage of the previous five years. No matter if you look at it from a country, state or worldwide point of view. Although I could show you far more facts, I urge you to do your own research. Nevertheless, for instance in regard of the failing PCR test. Because the national health services instructed the laboraties to exceed the scientifically limited cycle times of 29 cycles. Although science has never been able to reproduce anything above 29 cycles, the most countries use between 35 and 50 reproduction cycles, resulting in high percentages of falls positives. This and extensive testing on not clinical ill diagnosed patients, caused the second wave. That is the reason we have millions of positive tests and a flattened curve on hospitalisation and deaths caused by covid19. Please verify this at the stats of your national health servises too? So what is the conclussion? I suggest you draw your own conclussions by asking yourself the right questions. Why? How? Follow the money? Who has profited and who will? Which agendas does this serve? UN's 21? 2030? WEF great reset? All of the above?

My whole family caught the rona but ours just felt like a cold. I had shortness of breathe but it was because my tonsils were swollen which cleared in a week or so. Anxiety did worsen shortness of breath but I was still able to breathe so it wasn’t that bad. I did get loss of taste/smell for a week and had body aches for like 2 days. The few days was just a fever and felt like a regular cold. The 2nd week was just new symptoms arriving like headaches, loss of smells, etc. and all took off within a week. I still get shortness of breath but that’s because I have really bad anxiety lol. I don’t have the rona anymore :)

@Seth Friedman Come on man, it's a real virus, but just isn't as serious as the media makes it out to be or worth shutting down our country. I work in an ER and yes, I personally know 4 ER staff members who have had it, one of the other units something like 6 of the employees got it around the same time. I've seen some messed up lungs on xrays and people having poor oxygen saturation in their blood, you dont get that from colds, and it's not normal for so many people to have fevers, and flu like symptoms in the middle of summer. To repeat myself, I dont think the virus is that serious, everyone I know who's had it did and the patients I see with it, usually do fine. Saying it's not real is idiotic. Ask any healthcare worker that works in a major city and you'll get the same reply I just gave you.
@ManUtd503
@ManUtd503 4 жыл бұрын
@Seth Friedman Well due to time, I clicked on the first 3 links. So the first link is acknowledging that covid 19 does infact exist but that it hasn't killed anyone. Problem is, sure it may not have directly killed anyone, wording is important here but, it causes complications on already pre-exsisting medical conditions. It's like saying AIDS doesnt kill anyone. Technically it doesnt, it deteriorates your immune system so you end up dying from something else because your body cant fight it. Wording is key here. I'd agree, maybe covid 19 isn't the exact cause of death in most of the deaths but, it adds to an already unhealthy person's problems. The second link: I've seen that nurse's story before and so far the only place I've seen this happening is in NY. Not sure why, again I know Covid has been politicized but I havent heard anything like that happening in WC hospitals regarding patients who test negative being listed as positive. The 3rd link: So the issue with the test detecting the common cold as covid is that I know multiple people who have been sick recently and tested NEGATIVE for covid. So it the common cold and other virus are coming up as covid POSITIVE then why are so many people who are sick right now testing negative?? At my hospital we have been testing everyone who is "suspect" for covid 19 and I can tell you maybe 40% of them come back positive so I'm not seeing what that link is describing. I'm basing this off of working right at the source.

Good that you became well. As a copd patient myself I went through this many flu seasons. Please don't fear other people? Regardless the sad story, of all that suffered.

The sad fact remains that she was in the best shape of her life to get COVID-19. If she had Lyme disease , other auto-immune disorders , chemotherapy etc this could have been a death sentence. There are a lot of things about this disease we have no clue about. It affects some people completely to the point where they lose limbs even if they do survive. It barely affects other people sometimes. Callum Hudson-Odoi is a good example for this. He's a Premier League Footballer who played at the highest levels of football and barely knew he had COVID-19. There are a lot of people talking about the long-lasting effects of this disease. Some are getting permanent organ damage , some are losing muscle mass etc. Do not risk catching it to prove a point. Stay safe , stay strong. Also , her mother seems such a kind soul. It really is true what they say , mothers really cannot catch a disease from the child they take care of (I know it's not true). Also the nurses and techs , the humanity they showed her to apologize for the pain. My mother's an ICU nurse who spent an entire month scrambling fighting the first wave of COVID-19 infections. The first few days she kept talking about dying , what to put at her gravestone etc . My father told me her affect was one that of a zombie , dead tired after a shift . She would come home , shower , run the laundry and then not leave from the bed. This is highly unusual for my mother. It took weeks after her rotation for her to become somewhat normal , I cannot begin to comprehend the people who have been fighting this for months on end now. The real cost they will pay have just begun.

it’s hard man to accept the situation,my parents and sister is also not taking this thing serious. my age is 18 and i even think that i am vulnerable but thinking of parents they are much more as my dad is over 50 and having diabetes and eats other medication too and my mom is obese and they just say,oh it’s just a normal flu and people are recovering like how can you compare your health with somebody else.i am frustrated now and helpless and even worse is that when the emotions come in that makes even more hard to accept.but anyways i cannot do anything and can only take precautions like wearing a mask,maintaining distance and hand hygiene.other than that i don’t want to harm my mental health because of my parents and stress can cause many more problems.hope so this thing gets over soon and i know it will take time but i am helpless.they are risking their life and as well as my life also..

Pray for the world guys. That’s all we can do, it only takes a few words Edit: I know masks can help and wearing it is important..duh...but I’m saying we can’t stop the virus so just pray for the world to heal in all the ways it needs to be. Sorry if that came across the wrong way or you didn’t understand ^^

From the beginning when the doctors said that young people don't have to worry about getting sick was the DUMBEST THING THEY COULD'VE DONE. Cause people still hanging out, having parties, and not wearing mask. I haven't had it yet. Thats why i stay in the house.
