All, I'm Thomas, the instructor in the video. Thanks for watching! Please note that in minute 21, the discussion of roots, I have an error; the square root of 4 is two and only two; it is not -2. We all have our moments, that was one... thanks to Mariam AL for the heads up!

Watching this in 2019!! God bless this man, he’s an amazing teacher, I’ve always sucked at math and was freaking out about the quants sections. He really breaks it down in English, because math can sometimes feel like a foreign language.

Amazing explanation. I feel back to High school, you're really clear! A constructive critic for your next video lessons: you could keep your book on your right side of the desk. in this way, when you change from one topic to the following, you will leave the numbers written on the board visible.

If you score above the average of the applicant pool that the graduate program has then yes. For example, if the average GMAT score of a certain program is a 600, but you score a 670. Then you'll probably have a good chance I would say work experience is also important

No because it says 60 sibling pairs -> 120 siblings. you can pick one of the pair of siblings from the junior class and the other sibling from the senior class.

Lost me at @24.30. Why did you change the symbol because you wanted to multiply by one to correct that figure. Also why did you factorize at the end in the step just before the answer. Was it change of subject of formula principles ? I may have missed something but I felt you laid foundations on everything up until then

Hi giants4, I'm the instructor, yes this is the math review chapter in video with a few supplements. It was designed primarily for our online GMAT prep students to watch before class, and is described to them as "a review of the GMAT math review chapter." Some don't "see it" with the book, this review is for that group.

the answer to square root of 4 is 2. not 2 "and" - 2.Square roots are ALWAYS positive or zero. however if x^2=4, then x=-2 and x=+2
