Martyn Ashton is, hands down, the best representative for the entire sport of Mountain Biking, adaptive or otherwise. What a legend! And watching the genuine concern Blake has for him on their ride is outstanding. Wish I had been there on the same day just to say hello!

Everything about mountain biking is included in this video! The stoke, the grind, the fear, the nervous laughters, the high fives, the sharing with friends, the outdoors, the hurt, the complete sense of accomplishment, the inclusion of all, the rocks, the roots, the oups!, the fu(ks, the sketchy scouting lines, the pure freaking fun from riding trails. I loved it! thanks for all the hard work and great content. Cheers, MC

@16:30….too right my man! Gotta say that I have taken so much from Martin’s resilience. I have a back injury that occasionally makes it difficult to walk, sit or do much of anything, but sometimes I get well enough to feel pretty normal on a mountain bike. That’s when I grab hold of life, find the nearest trail that scares the snit out of me and point the bike downhill. I love these videos…gonna get a Martin Ashton tattoo one of these days…right on my forehead

Simply amazing! I'm actually taking a course tomorrow on teaching AMTB and watching your progression and adaptation to the ever changing technology has been a huge part of my interest in AMTB. From your first rides strapped into "the bucket" to the Random Tandem and the Bowheads, it's been super fun to watch and so cool to see the capabilities of the different designs improve on what was previously impossible. The future is now, and this is just the beginning!
@junka19752 жыл бұрын
By far one of the greatest videos you guys have done! Well done Martyn, your legend status is very well deserved. That stuff is gnarly for anyone! You rode it like an absolute boss! Blake's facial expressions said it all! I can only imagine what Rich was thinking. It doesn't matter if you needed a little help. That's where you find the limits of what can be done and possibly work out new ways of approaching different zones. Well done to Whistler and their crew for going down this avenue and other bike parks that have followed suit! Everyone needs adventure and fun in their life and this should inspire more people to have a go. Also, what an awesome piece of kit the Bowhead is. Like Blake said, the articulation is amazing. GMBN, the life of mountain biking is in safe hands with all of you on the job. Best ambassadors by far.

Hope you made a thorough and complete report as your point of view is so very valuable in making this something that is successful, I want everyone to be able to enjoy mountain biking not just those of us with functional limbs.
