Hello Mr Antonio I just fix the pressure switch I followed the steps I have a 2011 Chevy traverse TZL 2WD one quick question Do I need to reprogram Relearn the transmission or not? Since I only fix those laminate switches?

@@MrAndyemmanuel no need for reprogramming. Just drive it normally for couple of days (not heavy loads, not wide open throttle) and it will relearn by itself again

Subscribed! Ive been waiting for a quality video like yours to tackle this job. Gonna do it this weekend. I got 2 of those codes but ALSO a P2723 Pressure control Solenoid Valve 5 stuck... Do you think this solenoid code will go away with his repair? Or should I just replace the whole TECHM? 2011 Gen1 6T75 thanks for this great shot

My 2008 buick enclave video has a better view. Check the screen for the solenoids if it’s ripped and there’s metal most likely you gonna have to replace the TCM. Cuz once metal gets in it won’t come out. Sometimes it’s better to replace the valve body too. However if there is metal present you have a bigger problem

@@arredondo11pa it has a safety tab. Remove that first and then you have to press down a clip as you pull up the handle. Is under the handle use a small flat head screw driver. Just be careful not to brake it

yes, from 2007 till 2012 is the same, 2013 and up is a different system.

It won’t activate any other codes. Actually you won’t even notice there are codes. The check engine light doesn’t come on. However you will feel like a delay or a hard kick sometimes

Ok, I’m currently working on a 2012 traverse and I have some tcs problems along with these set of codes. I reset codes and both of these keep coming back along with a c0161 and c0424 or c0242 not sure on the last code number. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it.

No need to remove it. I did it like that because I was doing some work to the engine. You should be able to do it while in the vehicle

Yes if the codes are related to the pressure switch. The same kit will work on the 6L90

It’s too late now. however you if you decide to fix your transmission you will need to fix the pressure switches anyway

@@puncho33 if you only replacing the pressure switches you looking about $400 or to 500. You probably have to go to a transmission shop. Most mechanics don’t even know about this. They probably tell you to replace the transmission

It’s a big job but not that hard. You don’t have to remove the transmission nor the engine like I did.

I did that cuz I was working on the engine and transmission. It’s a little difficult because there’s not much room. If you don’t have much experience on cars I will recommend you to take it to a shop that works on these transmissions

Those switches always go bad I have replaced hundreds of them. Some shops miss diagnose this transmissions because of it.
