I followed your advice and put the air lift system on my coach.Verry happy with it. I have not yet upgraded the pump but I think I will. It works fine for up-and-down adjustments but it did overheat on my initial inflation. Thank You for Your help.

FYI, MicroLevel is a replacement airbag control system for the GMC motorhome. It was designed by GMC Motorhome owner Keith Vasilakes. It simplifies the air system and gives electronic control of the ride height. It will also level your coach automatically at the campsite (within the range of the airbag system) and comes with a wireless remote control. It is also less expensive and the AirLift product and its control panel fits in place of the OEM control panel.

Thanks for the great comment! I hadn't seen that system but it looks great. I always like to support people who are working to keep these rigs on the road. My coach came with the AirLift system but if I was redoing an old system I would probably choose the MicroLevel, it looks very nice!

I wonder how the mice are getting in.
@MrGMCMotorhome Жыл бұрын
Mice can come in really small holes, down to about 1/2". There are probably a couple dozen holes like that in ou8r 45 year old motorhome. Sealing holes is a ways down my list at this point. :-)

@@MrGMCMotorhome Yes, I am aware that mice can squeeze through small openings and the age of the GMC motorhome. I was just wondering where you think they were coming in (generator bay, propane tank bay, etc. Seems like you should move that up your list - mice can be so destructive :{|]

A couple of my projects have been fixing wiring damaged by mice so I want to keep them out. I've been through the fridge area, the potable water tank, generator and propane cubicles and I always insulate and seal any holes I find. For now we seem to be keeping the mice under control with traps, peppermint oil, and smelly mouse repellants. Maybe they are getting between the outer skin and inner wall and finding a way in that way. At some point I'll make sure everything is sealed from the outside.
