Sorry but gas gauges don't break in. Neither do turn signals. If it does not want to turn off, there is something binding.

Our son loves his 1973 he purchased in 2023.The former owner wanted a little more power for going up hills etc,so he had a 500 CC Cadillac engine from a Eldorado and had the engine completely over hauled with 5,000 miles when our son bought it.If there are any Hank WIlliam Sr,fans he has an interesting story about some old photos,records he has from the 1950`s on his 1973 MOTORHOME Steve Groot Part 8 & part 9.

I have a 1978 Royale and went to the Co-op in 2017... $11, 000+ later, new single fuel tank. and Fitech EFi etc, and mine didn't even make it around the block..Limped back and a day later I was on the road home.. I was worried it was overheating all the way.. It was preignighting due to low fuel pressure.. (blew 350 miles later).. . I can and do recommend Jason though.. He got me going. and was the one who told me that the Fitech needed the ($500 additional) high pressure pump.. Which I added to the new engine build... Hope they have good luck.....

Thank you Sam! The high pressure fuel pump you mentioned is the FiTech Force Fuel that we now use in our coaches. We've learned a lot since then. - Jason

Thanks for the ride. I'd buy a GMC Motorhome if I had someone willing to share the experience.

So many memories doing that circuit a few times! (To those watching: With the amount of changes often done to a motorhome, you don’t want to only test drive at the very end hoping everything came together perfectly. Never going to happen. Instead, you do one thing, test drive, make sure that one thing works as expected, and make notes of the others that came up Do any fixes and maybe the next big item on the list. Then do another test drive, etc. That iterative process will catch a lot more errors at the right time to fix them. This is kind of like getting a peek at a painter halfway through their work: You can start to see the overall picture, but quite a few details are still to be done…!)

Waiting on that information from the customer, they ordered it themselves and gave to us to install.

What's the clunk clunk clunk when turning at slow speeds? CV joints?
@motorhomerehabranch2 жыл бұрын
Can you tell us at what times in the video you heard a clunk clunk clunk? It may be an issue with the audio or the mic picking up something weird, also could be the terrible roads in orlando haha the mic we use drowns out certain sounds and enhances other ones.... we didn't hear any clunk clunk issues while driving it, all pistons are accounted for so not really sure

It was a test drive for the FiTech system on an in progress project, not the final test drive.

@@motorhomerehabranch Probably not a good one to showcase without that introduction. The FiTech must have been on its first run given Jason's comment about the idle.

You need to take the headliner out , and fish wires up the central window stay , it’s hollow , you can get a 4 core 0.75 mm up there , it will do power and signal wires
