You can run the line right through the handle, or use a large D-Ring, since I have a mix of Steel Cables and Soft Lines on my Winch(es). You can store it outside the cab, by just hanging it off your rear Receiver. It keeps it handy and from banging & rattling around, plus keeps the mud outside. Also seems to reduce annoying tail gaiting tourists as it swings around back there. LOL. Hope to see you out there some day soon.

re" the rope, me too. I carry a stretchy-recovery strap... I used my old 10,000 lb one just once to pull some kids in a Subaru out of a mud puddle with my Tacoma (and the stitching half ripped out of one of the end loops), so I got a newer better one (30,000 lb 30 foot Smittybilt) for my newer bigger-heavier truck, and haven't needed it yet. but if I do I'll be really happy I've got it. Matt i like how you hit the dashboard to stop it from making noise or just to get it to work.

Matt your rope is awesome. The little diecast banana. Fits perfect on the shelf next to a General Lee.

We All saw the disappointment on your face when you found out it was a two wheel drive. But you got it out to the amazement of the customer. He, customer, looked a little shook when you put deeper in the hole. I think he thought he called the wrong recovery team. But that was proved to be wrong when you got it up on the road. Great job

I love the responsibility Lizzie is given and how capable she is. That was a little bit different kind of rescue, but "well done."

I’m new to the channel. Is Lizzie Matt’s daughter?
@SuND4a13 жыл бұрын
Yes, Belle Stafford, Lizzie is Matt's daughter.

@@SuND4a1 No she isn't. I think she's the daughter of someone Matt used to work with. Rudy is Matt's son though.

MATT, Hello, that was SOME DARN RECOVERY, & the owner/driver was there too ! Thats got to be one. STRANGE recovery. But MATTS OFF-ROAD RECOVERY & crew saved the day, WOW🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The snatch block did NOT double your winch capacity like he said, the way it was rigged, It only changed direction. The mechanical advantage is only doubled going 180° down & back.. that advantage quickly dissipates every degree less than 180° from the pull source. Those ring type sheaves are not as efficient as a traditional snatchblock friction wise. Better than nothing though.

@@schrinky90 for real though, imperial physics units are whack, who the hell calls a measurement of force a slug? To be fair we did call it pounds force in another class lol

Matt to Rudy "Bury it to the axle." Then he does the same thing. Took me by surprise because never seen before but makes perfect sense. It was also great fun watching the two Jeeps dig themselves in. Makes me wonder how many tricks Matt has up that sleeve of his!
