I am always so nervous that something is going to snap when I am removing interior panels, you just went for it- respect.

Our Yukon is a bit older than yours and the drivers mirror is always dimmed/tinted with a weird spot in it, wonder if they had similar issue on the old one that they swapped out. In any case I lucked out as I have a set of mirrors off my 06 Silverado that will be going on the Yukon (05) because I upgraded the Silverado to a knock off 2500 telescoping tow mirror. I'd love to put the same mirrors on the Yukon as we use it to tow the camper but the boss (wife) says no she doesn't like them so I'll just put the free stock old Silverado one's on and keep using the slide ons for towing. I did see the box you got said tow mirrors and the picture is what I have on my Silverado but they look like the stock mirrors, what makes them tow mirrors or did the box not match? Otherwise great video, going to tackle this on the Yukon soon as that weird spot is annoying me as it gets worse, lol. We will have the same in going from match painted mirrors to straight black.

I'm not sure why the box was like that but I wouldn't qualify these replacements as tow mirror. Just an oe replacement.

@@FowlersFarmhouseMore That's what I thought but was hopeful for some magical telescoping feature.

Good job. I'm always surprised to hear how much people pay to have that done.
