GMG Davy Crockett -cooking pizza

Cooking Pizza on GMG Davy Crockett for the first time using pizza stone purchased from amazon. (not Academy LOL) I cooked the pizza at 450 degrees took alittle longer then I liked. so the next time I will cook it at 500 degrees and let you know how long it takes. but the pizza came out amazing,

Looks great, with the paper does the pizza crust brown and char just like it would without the paper?

You should of got the pizza oven less than $79 for davey Crockett smoker goes to 700 degrees and cooks pizza in less than 2 minutes plus parchment paper is only to be used up to 400 degrees

@@artknox2836 The pizza stone in the Davey Crockett pizza oven is only 10", so you pizzas would be smaller than that. But, they'd get done in about 4 min or so.

looks good , do you have to remove the heat shield or anything before cranking that bad boy up to 450- 500 . both times i cranked mine up they caught fire . your also looks very new so you probably do not have a lot of grease like mine did thats what im guessing caused that thing to catch fire . im waiting to hear back from GMG so thanks

I didn’t remove my heat shield , mine is new had less than a year ,I also put aluminum foil on my heat shield to keep it clean

Did the bottom of the pizza get crusty?
