I just realized that this is an unprecedented content that you are able to listen a professional chess player’s thoughts and see the progress bar at the same time. In any other content either the player also sees the progress bar (when they are reviewing) or they don’t express any thoughts (when they are playing). Thanks for doing this, and I hope you will have this in every video

Btw it is completely possible to do this real time with the streaming, when the progress bar will be visible only in the stream but not on your screen still probably it will cause some problems related to cheating but it is possible

It's funny how in most openings you actually don't do too well according to the eval bar, but you almost always turn it around mid game to a winning position

That's deliberate. All the solid openings have a lot of known theory. If he plays something that isn't objectively "that good" then the two players are thinking on their own, and Hikaru is confident in outplaying people who are thinking on their own and not just remembering theory. Hence he is generally equal or slightly worse in the beginning before using the middle game to turn things around.

the last game was super impressive! the position was so messy but both players somehow kept finding top moves and the eval bar was going between -0.2, +0.2 which is a draw until they got so low on time, that was a great game

I suppose 2:18 is a past pawn issue for black on c6 because white can roll over the pawn on b5 while also opening up the c file for the rooks. Someone with a chessprogram feel free to correct me.
