Puzzle: Qxg3 and if hxg3, then g5 followed by Rh6#. So the queen can't be captured and black won a knight for free.

You are really good teacher. I fixed my opening repertoire by watching your videos. It's not just for blitz and rapid but also for classical. Now I want to advance my technical knowledge in middle game and endgame. Will you please make those kind of videos? Like, 1. Middle game planning 2. Attacking Techniques 3. Attacking castled king 4. Basic & Advance level Defence 5. Art of Defence 6. Pawn chain 7. Converting extra pawn into win 8. Basic and most occuring endgames & techniques 9. Rarely occuring endgames 10. Calculation techniques 11. Evaluation of the position Thanks

6:12 What if en passant dxe6, I can't calculate it but it looks dubious/scary and bad for black Edit:( I should never have doubted you Igor, you covered it, just in a transposition. Legend ) I think everyone above 500 would probs play en passant dxe6 as the most natural move but I may be wrong... Sure you take the bishop, they develop your queen, they are still attacking your knight, aight with an ok discovered attack for you... But no way I'd play this unless I'd spent an hour calculating 8 moves further

in the position at 5:31 White can defend its d4 pawn by simply pushing his e4 pawn. At which point, even if you manage to come out even or with an additional pawn, you end up with a completely messed up pawn structure

I find it amusing how these lines are so elegant and pretty. . . I just defeated a 1700 opponent that was attacking me like crazy since move 2 and none of this lines applied at all. . . He defeated me like 20 times until I learned to slow down his attack with positions. But I just wanted to say that if there's a person that's extremely attacking the KID it's tricky. Or at least it's for me at this moment. Anyway, love the video and most people are not like Kasparov going to the jugular right away

Is it true that short term memory plays an important role in chess. I believe that short term memory helps. When I see chess players explaining their game without looking at the chess board I feel surprised. Can people who can memorise 70000 digits of pi have the potential to play chess like world Champions. Suresh sharma, rajan mahadevan two from my country memorised 70000 digits of pi. When I am solving puzzles I am facing little discomfort when I try to manipulate the chess board in my mind. I am loosing track of things.

Good video, but: Would rather play any other line than this, literally throwing away your game. If you are white and want to crush black here play 10. gxf3 instead of Bxf3 in the main line. You can than attack with h4-h5-hxg6 followed by Bh6. If black plays h5 to prevent your plan just go for f4-f5. Black has no counterplay and suffers until he is dead. Btw. engine eval is +3 (literally a piece up) with the move and plan i suggested.
