This happened to me once (usually you don't want to develop your piece to the square that could get kicked easily but since I am new at this openning so mistake can happenned), but I didn't notice the f pawn and move my knight back to f6
@michaelmassaro437511 ай бұрын
I think the better move would’ve been to jump ahead and Maybe find a better square if they try to kick it from there moving it back and blocking your other pieces usually spells trouble
@Foxisforfascism11 ай бұрын
I like moving the Knight back to f6, it prevents the Queen coming to g4 or h5.

Stop thinking you need to stop blundering. That's a fictional (and unhealthy) objective. Human chess has blunders...even at the SGM level. MC blunders. That said, do try to reduce your frequency of blunders. And when you do blunder, know you have the company of the entire chess community.
@sneakerhead47706 ай бұрын
I usually go into the botvinik carls on the advance. U wouldn’t get that knight attacked on f3 and if they were to push it should be fine
@mr.anti-hero43986 ай бұрын
However, it's important to note that you shall ask yourself these kind of things few moves sooner than the given position emerges. In other words, you need to neutralize the tension before allowing for a pawn to arrive in your ranks with a tempo. If the pawn is managed to be pushed to a third rank with a tempo in a position like this, you can already give up on a game.

If you are black number one advice do not move the f6 pawn it’s asking to be mated from a Bishop or Queen it’s a very vulnerable spot

I took this advice, lost 210 elo because the person had two reasons to why they moves there, threaten checkmate, protect piece. And the checkmates were all rare.

Moving the knight back in front of the queen is already a mistake, actually taking out the king knight is a mistake, the person who falls for this trap didn't study Caro kann and started to play it...

It’s solid advice the example itself is not important the facts are your opponent is trying to create a strategy that he feels will bring him a good result he or she is not just moving the pieces indiscriminately they usually have a motive the advice is to figure what it is your opponent is up to so you can counter successfully instead of just going with the flow and ending up losing a piece or the game
