What to play if opponent plays queen e7 on 8th move i.e after pushing to pawn e5 in Gambit 1?
@homerdough53895 ай бұрын
Uh yeah, I would play Qe7 after 4.d5 in the first opening. I don't like these vids simply because you're assuming people will make "normal" moves but they're bad moves. Show the best response and how to go from there as well. I guess that's more for people who don't want just quick wins (which is most people I'd guess) but not my cup of tea I guess.
@DendrocnideMoroides5 ай бұрын
Qe7 is losing for black +2.5 engine evaluation, white can just play Qe2 and have a massive space advantage and a lead in development.
@homerdough53895 ай бұрын
@@DendrocnideMoroides I’m sure it does but he doesn’t say it in the vid which is my point
@DendrocnideMoroides5 ай бұрын
@@homerdough5389 he has made dedicated videos on these openings where he goes more in-depth, Fitting 5 openings in 1 video is different, however, I would still agree with you that he never shows the best lines for the opponent in his videos.
