Bad Buddy is the kind of series you can rewatch multiple times because it has the right amount of sweetness, comedy, and angst. The characters are alive and feel like real people. The scenes are simple but it became extraordinary with their acting + script, and I think that's one of the main strength of this series. Ohmnanon, P'aof and the team are so awesome for taking this series on another level ❤️

I know they're fictional characters but the immense courage they show through their characters to stand up to what you believe in and take that leap of faith is so damn real. Pat shined so brightly on today's episode, I love his character! He's so selfless in love and he gives courage to Pran to take chances and chase what he wants. He is open and raw and he has no filter, every passing moment I can't help but fall for Pat. Ohm literally nailed his character! I can't describe how proud I am of OhmNan, Bad Buddy defies the usual BL stereotypes out there, the plot may seem predictable and cliche, but this cliche is done right, it gives us twists and surprises along the way, the simplicity is extraordinary which makes this different from the others, the acting and the storytelling is brilliant. I dunno if we'll get a S2 or if we even see OhmNan as a pair again, but I'd say they're definitely leaving their footprint in BLs with Bad Buddy. They've created a new standard for new BL couples and Bad Buddy has shown a different way of Storytelling in BLs. This series has just become the game-changer in BLs for more realistic and non-cringey acting and plot. I hope the Bad Buddy cast & crew would get the recognition they deserve in this year's award ceremonies! This whole production is just brilliant!

This guy Nanon is a great deal in conveying his 'Pran' character who's truly falling in love with Pat both emotionally and physically. The way Pran touches Pat is very subtle and intimate. When they kissed, Pran opened his eyes and looked at Pat's eyes and face. It's easier to kiss somebody or anybody with eyes closed. When Nanon opened his eyes before the end of the kiss, he totally become Pran. Edit: Guys, thank you for the likes, you guys are amazing. Let's hope they will give us Bad Buddy Season 2!!!!! It's not Inexplicable.. It's talent. Talented actors, scriptwriters, directors and all. They are all talented. Ohm and Nanon as a team is a new Steamboat just rolling down the river with such ease.. and the fact that Pat and Pran does not fit the norm of a Y'series is also the reason why I love this series. I cried when they kissed. They really had to go through a lot to be together. That kiss was magical; it was full of unbridled love, longing, passion and heat. Unlike the rooftop kiss, which was all about finally confirming their feelings for each other and sheer desperation, the kiss here feels mature, patient and comforting...like this big, warm embrace. This shows is really give us EVERYTHING. It felt so real, no awkward, no cringe and potrayed the characters really well. Ohm and Nanon did a justice with an amazing perfomances followed by the genius script and well-handed by a great director. You need consent for sex etc,, but often the other party just approach to see if they are interested, not necessarily ask directly: "Can we have sex?". If the other one is not interested in it, they would drop it of course. I would be tired hearing my bf asking my consent for every kiss except in the beginning of a relationship. Then it's needed. I like how they (finally!) show us a sex-wise verse/switch couple in a healthy, communicative and mutually appreciative relationship full of caring reciprocity and emphathetic and logical compromises. Pat was topping since ep 8, this is Pran’s 1st time topping, hence his question: “Was I good?” This and lots of other trope-defying BBS stuff ventures into realities of actual gay relationships. Before in BLs it was mostly heteronormative narrative imposed on same-sex relationships. Now - a fujoshi/fudanshi fantasy crossing over into a more realistic queer representation in Thailand. Temporary and mutually agreed “break-up” (sort of, but not really😉) to appease and reconcile the families and eliminate obstacles is just a voluntary way of losing 1 battle to ultimately win the entire war for their eternal love and being together with full acceptance from the most important people in their lives.

There are many implicit indications and allusions to them having sex (like post-match “I need my reward”, “oy, Pat, give me a break (and get off me)”). Korn DOESN’T need to know it, its personal and it’s betweed Pat and Pran only. Pran’s request for rating his topping prowess was a direct allusion to that. “This time is my turn” says it all. Also, Pat hasn’t “tasted” Pran being inside of him as is evidenced by the sea-weed snack scene. Pat being the first to top is from the novel to appease the “crazy-canon-obsessed” novel fans, but aof is making them verse/switch couple in the end. I love it! After SunMork from DBK (aof directed btw) they are the second major verse couple in thai bls. Was Fighter Tutor switches, too. Never finished that messy BL but the verse vibe was there, too. Aof and production team acknowledged that they have been having sex long before the beach bed scene. This is a realistic bl afterall, two 19 yo guys in love sleeping in the same bed for months, come on! :-)

I could spend ages praising this show. P'Aof really created magic in a bottle here. Ohm and Nanon are ... there are no words. They are outstanding. They live their characters and Pat and Pran feel like real people who really are desperately, madly in love with each other. I appreciate all the little things added to make them as realistic as possible. Pran topping makes perfect sense - he's just as into Pat as Pat is into him, he desires his boyfriend just the same way Pat desires him and there seems to be nothing Pat isn't willing to do for him. The kissing scene - I get choked up just thinking about it. It's so intense, so full of emotion and desire. Nanon's look when they pause, I really can't get over it.

It’s small but at least for me it has a huge impact seeing that they all but explicitly stated that, Pat was the bottom. Not only did they correct the misconception that the more dominant/masculine guy can’t be the bottom, but by doing this they also very subtlety showed that personality has no bearings on position in the bedroom. I might be giving them too much credit, but this BL is on another level. It truly makes me excited about GMMTVs future BL projects.

I'm glad that there isn't a sex or "heavy petting" scene included in this series. Like, the audience knows that Pat and Pran are "together," but the act itself happens behind closed doors. I find that very charming. I (personally) would have felt like an intruder if I saw them getting hot and heavy. I know a lot of people watch BLs for the intimate scenes and they assume they know which role each partner will take on in the bedroom. I think the fact that the show skips over it and focuses on the afterglow sends a great message: Sex is a private moment and it ISN'T ANYONE ELSE'S BUSINESS WHAT PEOPLE DO TO EACH OTHER IN THAT MOMENT!

oh yeah I'm so glad P'Aof the director decided to skip those intimate scenes. I mean after all it's meant to be PG-13 , but also those steamy scenes would diminish the beautiful emotional buildup from the last couple episodes. And i think the director wants to take a dig at stereotypes of intimate roles. Kudos to the team 🙏 And i don't know about you but honestly, the afterglow really hits me as the quiet joy in the morning after was so beautifully and tenderly portrayed. I think that's the higher art and even more challenging to play out in front of their audience. I like how this show denies typical stereotypes that BL social media popularized - that one character always HAS to be top and the other to be naturally bottom. I felt that switch energy from them ever since the episode 1 but honestly I've been ready for typical "k, let's make the shorter and less bulky one an ultimate bottom bc that's what an average yaoist wants". God, this is just a huge example of how different their personalities are! Even though he said in the preview that he knew they would have to go back, it really seems like Pat is ready to throw their old lives away and start fresh where they can be happy. 17:31 is a hauntingly beautiful scene. this can be mistaken as a happy scene, like the other earlier scenes in this episode, but it's actually quite the opposite. this is a subtle foreshadowing of the episode's last part and the next episode's preview (which apparently came as a surprise for the audience). i love ohm's acting in this scene. you can see with pat's expression that he was relieved to see pran after waking up, then suddenly shifting into a look of sadness, realizing that seeing pran like this might be the last time so he wants to keep this memory in his mind. he was cherishing this specific moment of pran comfortably playing the guitar to his heart's content (we all know that pran's mom hates him playing the guitar + pran feels uncomfortable playing the guitar since that would mean him disobeying his mom), at peace, and away from all the misery and pressures of his life. right after this realization, he smiles once again, but the happiness and relief can't be seen in his eyes anymore. all you can see now is pat longing, holding on to something he's about to lose. the only words i can put into this scene is "let me photograph you in this light in case it is the last time", except pat here is "photographing" pran with his eyes, into his memories, before they let go of each other's hands.

This series goes beyond everything. I've watched Thai BL movies for 5 years now and the closest movie to this masterpiece is "ITSAY". Back at the time, I thought nothing can surpass the plot, acting, director talent, sound, transitions, and many other things of ITSAY. I thought it was perfect. Until this one. I can't really use words to describe how much I love this series. I've known Ohm for years and seen all his BL movies. I've known Nanon for years and watched most of his movies. But not once, hit me this hard. This episode is indeed a masterpiece. I'm surprised that people from the reaction channels didn't cry during the scene where Pat say 'You never leave. You fight alongside me. That makes me happy'. I cried my eyes out watching that scene. You know how your palm feels a bit tingy whenever you feel hurt? That feeling keeps crawling inside of me while my tears were dropping down like I'm the one who's saying goodbye to my lover. The acting was so real that I can feel Nanon's pain just by looking at his glaze, tears, the twitching lips, the shaky voice. Everything is so detailedly tailored to make us feel the same with the characters. I don't know what else to say, just heads down to P'Aof for being such a talented director, Ohm and Nanon for being ridiculously good at making us cry, and whoever helps this masterpiece come to life!

That scene you mentioned is one if my favourite scenes from bad buddy. I also wondered why people never gave the importance it deserved. Many people say through that scene quite normally. I couldn't go past that scene for several minutes. Kept repeating during the live stream and I still cry while watching that scene. Pat holding prans hands and pouring out his emotions while being vulnerable and realising that pran would never leave him and will stay by him forever!. (Although i was worried about them till ep12. Not gonna deny that)..Wah.. That's such a perfect scene for me.

This bl series is really a masterpiece and it just heightened my standard of all BL series out there. Bad buddy is showing a very realistic story and you can definitely watch it multiple times without getting bored because you will still feel the same butterflies over and over again. Kudos to Ohm and Nanon for portraying their acting so well.
