GMTV Today: 2000 Theme Tune

Used by myself as the theme tune for a college assignment. Now this irritatingly catchy tune can be used by you too for whatever reason you deem necessary.

Urgh, that underscore theme from 0:26 onwards is just amazing. I've never been able to find that specific one around the internet, it's always the 2007 and onwards. This one is the best because there's a sense of urgency to it. I also love the theme (not featured here) that was used around 2007 that has the 'whoosh' sound effect as the letters GMTV flew on screen.

This one and the 2006-2009 one are the best. I love the futuristic sound effects they added to the one you're talking about. They stuck with the same great theme and improved it (and the visuals).

0:02 Those four notes is nostalgic. Also, for some reason, it’s not in stereo compared to the actual titles.

Different sources unfortunately - I couldn't find a clean, true stereo copy of the four-note jingle.

I just hear the 2007-2009 theme (a rock version of the GMTV Today theme) at 1:18.

It sounds similar, but this is definitely the 2000 theme... I sourced the files myself! The 2007 theme has a longer piano lead-in -- listen to both side by side and you'll hear it.

It was a shame there was no weekend editions of GMTV Today ok Sundays did have Sunday Best but it didn't last that long

The titles are GMTV with Lorraine 2009 January ones, slightly different to the GMTV Today 2000 - 2006 ones.
