I subscribed to this channel because of running across a post of a van with a slide/tip our bed being purchased, and I wanted to see what they were gong to do with it, then saw the old cars which are from my first driving days, then saw a pretty lady with legggs... This channel should have a million subscribers with campers, boomer's cars, hotrods, and more...

A clutch pedal instantly makes ANY car more fun to drive. All 3 of my current vehicles have are stick shifts. My Chevelle is a 4 speed, my Dodge Ram is a 5 speed and my Mazda 6 is a 6 speed. I've owned a couple dozen cars over the years and only 2 were automatics and I hated both of them. Kudos for learning how to drive a stick! You'll have to build one for yourself now you know how much fun they are to drive.

Big smile, here. Before you know it, you're gonna be bang-shifting just like Mr. Dulcich! I got over my stick-jitters the hard way - by learning how to drive a White Freightliner Columbia. We're talking a 12 speed, split-stick "monster." It took me all of 20 minutes to get the hang of the full pattern [including a risky jump from 8th down to 4th gear} - my instructor was very impressed with the way I kept my cool, even during the crazy sh*t he constantly had me do. He bet me a steak dinner I couldn't take off on a 6% grade without stalling {6%, think Nob Hill in San Francisco, or Mulholland in LA}. I won the steak dinner, and blew his mind 'cos I took off in THIRD GEAR, just as smooth as glass. By the time I got my CDL, I was rat-racing with every Kenworth and Peterbilt I could find - the Columbias my new employer owned all had the top-dog, 750-horse Cummins under the bonnet!! I mean, you just haven't lived until you've done an 8-wheel peel........😎

Idk, I've disconnected injectors and drove several miles when I had a miss on that cylinder. With correct rings an hone there should be a film of oil for hydrodynamic lubrication for the rings and skirt to glide on. If it was boosted with intermittent injector pulse that would melt the top of the piston instead of just heating the lower piston to the point of no clearance, NA would just be a miss and ive never seen a NA lean condition heat a piston beyond clearance. No damage to the top of the piston just the lower or skirts I would be concerned there wasn't enough piston to wall clearance and would make sure there was enough the second time around. Just my opinion

Loved that vid! You guys are a fantastic couple and Liv you handled that 300 ?!? like a pro. I'm fairly new to y'all's channel so pardon me but, very nice build Danny. What was you your cam selection for that build and is it carbed or FI? (Sorry finished watching the vid... Fi it is) If it's in a vid I can check that out. I have an '05 6.0 with 3.2k miles on it that I bought for a project and didn't use it for that project (Fiero). I want to do a gen IV Camaro build with it with twin turbos. The older stuff is just out of site so I'm takin Tony D's advice to go for the "new" muscle car selection that is more affordable. BTW my neighbor has a '69 Z28 that he and is brother bought when he was in high school (so it was affordable way back then)... Keep up the riveting vids with your cool builds, makes great viewing..

$5.38 for 91 octane..... good grief, i thought it was bad in NY. premium gas is $4.50, but i go to the reservation and i paid $3.60. i take 9 cans enough to last almost a month. my toy is a 2003 bonneville SSEi 3800 supercharged L67. i know it's nothing compared to what you have here, but it's a fun older car. it's quick and the gas mileage isnt horrible. it requires premium. the car isnt entirely stock either. PCM tune, power log, 160 thermostat, cold air intake and a pulley swap. makes around 9 PSI of boost
