#SANTA BUS GO NORTH EAST Scania 6994 NLZ 5111 Enviro400 open top Father Christmas Spennymoor Brandon
Just a quick video of footage I took when Santa came to town on a GNE Scania Enviro 400.
Santa has a back up plan this year and testing the options to replace the reindeer and sleigh packed high with presents with an open top Enviro 400 NLZ 5111 (6994) supplied by Go North East. It was running from West Auckland to Chester-Le-Street in County Durham and calling in at many stops as below and sticking very closely to the time table but Santa couldn't resist to meeting the children and double checking what they wanted and his requests for Brussel sprouts dipped in chocolate for his treat of choice when he pops down your chimney !
We caught up with him and his helpers at Spennymoor Town Centre and again at Brandon turning circle and met with a huge reception of excited children shouting and screaming pleased to see him in person a week early.
A magical time of year and it wouldn't be possible without the company supplying the vehicle and the staff whom all work for Go North East but are doing this volunteering on their days off to bring joy to many young and old and raising money for charity as they go.
