This was all about being top tier with no other T8 to fight but the Sinop. Fighting against one tier above is tough, two tiers relegates you to HE to get anything done. There were a mix of T5 and T6 and for the most part he faced only one at a time or had the Icarus to keep the DDs busy, letting him close in without much worry and torp his opponent when his poor aim let them live long enough. The T7 cruiser almost got him with a ram but the torpedoes are the trump card which he played near perfectly, waiting until the last seconds to fire. Half the enemy team, four of the 5 BBs with their one T8 BB, spent half the game chasing one Pyotr Velikiy in the corner of the map. Catching the Sinop asleep and full broadside near the end was lucky, the AP of the two T5 BBs did little damage, they didn't stand a chance close in. But for the poor aim, his skill let him make the most of his advantages.

In real has a turret with 2 guns more accuracy then a turret with 3 or 4 guns.

The only way to make german guns more acurrate is to slow down, 1/4 or stop and never fire below 8km

Below 8km the dispersion just get worse, the best range for german BBs is 10-17km. People dont get this and blame the guns.

Honestly, I dislike the guns on Gneisenau because they are not the actual guns used during WW2. It is one of the least accurate ship models in this game.

Gneisenau was meant to receive the 380mm guns that the Bismarck had, but the ship was bombed beyond repair while in dry dock for the refit, and was then scrapped. The reason why it's like this in game is because it fits better with the rest of the tech tree German battleships. As someone else said, there are far worse offenders in game. Look at Kremlin. Every single part of that ship is fictional, from the guns too the hull of the ship itself. Completely made up with no basis in reality.

Balancing Gründe, die Scharnhorst ist ja auch im Spiel und hat diese 28cm Drillingstürme, da die aber für ein Schlachtschiff der Stufe 7 zu schwach sind musste das geändert werden.

This is crazy i really hate the Gneisenau. For me this is not a real bb. The real Gneisenau had 3 x 3 280 mm mainguns like the Scharnhorst and Scharnhorst is for sure the better ship.

But both of them are planned to have 15" guns. Both of them are good in their own ways. Scharnhorst deals with DDs and cruisers better because of smaller gun caliber but Gneisenau deals with BBs better.
