The main thing about the over designed Snax like the Picantis and Scoopy Banoopy is that theyre actually smaller Snax combined into one. The Picantis is actually an eggler, incherrito, and a couple Tacroaches, while the Scoopy Banoopy is made up of a Scoopy, Banopper, and Cheery.

I think Cheery, Strabby, and Razzby would be an evolution line in that order if they were pokemon, with preying picantis and scoopy banoopy being evolutions, picantis form tacroach, and banoopy form Welp scoopy, and bunger and eegler evolve into their giant bugsnak forms, and chepoof evolves into tiklada masala, with the boss exclusive enemies evolving into the boss.

Just fun and semi-disturbing fact, when the Ribblepede is eaten by a Grumpus during a quest, she comments that it was actually entirely soft, and only appeared to be made of bone. From this, and how other Bugsnax are consumed, we can assume that all Bugsnax are entirely edible and that all hard foods taste soft. Dunno if that quite affects typing though.

Megamaki should have had dragon type, but other than that, solid job! It’s fun to experiment what other creatures would behave like in Pokémon style, and this video is a perfect example. Btw, my favorite bugsnax are the sodies, cute whimsical little straw doodads in a can, not to mention the variety and the fact I’m a soda addict.
