Great video Im a rider and 3d artist myself its nice to see seeing modern design tools in vintage bikes being done by a single person in their garage opposed to a boutique shop

Hi Josh, great work so far, Any chance of getting your enhanced 3d plans? Im not very good with CAD designs. I had exactly the same impression of the original plans from Lorencao. Brilliant but too modern.

Hi there really like the video, I’m Learning alias so is good to see how you use it, what is the scanner called that you use.
@RogerEmmelstein9 ай бұрын
wow, are you willing to share the model? It seems like an awesome lot of work to get it digitized but the flexibility you get is endless. And ideally you would only need to do it once.

Would it be possible to send me that model? I am starting a projext of my own and your model would be of great help
Josh Newby would you be so kind to re-share the model? Designing a sidecar now, a 3D-frame would speed up the process. Seen your link but doesn’t seem to have the file anymore? Thanks in advance!

Don't know how I found you, but you got my sub. Great stuff ! But please, don't do the seat-hoop on top of the rear - get the odd triangles/bars out of the way, and build a new back-part, matching the lines from the front .. I don't know why BMW did it that way to begin with, but it's horrible ..
@CURV-LAB5 жыл бұрын
hahah yea that's definitely the plan. That's not a BMW design. That seat hoop was added by the previous owner as a quick "cafe racer" mod. I agree that has got to go.
