Question: This may or may not be considered computer hardware, but I was wondering where you got the components for your fan control PCB that you use with the new dummy heater. I'm wanting to build a thermocouple based fan controller of my own. - I've been completely fed up with motherboard fan control and integer temperature monitoring which is maddening for an elaborate open loop cooling system that sees no more than an 8 to 10C delta between idle and load fluid temperature, where fan speed is controlled entirely on that fluid temperature reading.

Asheville here, if you ever do come you have to be careful of the trails as they tend to erode frequently because we have constant torrential rainstorms. Besides that a few of the trails you also have to be really careful of because homeless people will just randomly jump out from bushes as more recently they tore down a bunch of the affordable housing places and parking garages to put up hotels. Also there is no parking anywhere because most of the parking garages are gone, but I know a few places with free parking that won't call the cops on you. Yes ingles will have your car towed if they get busy and they see it there for hours.

My only time riding downhill mtb I got 3/4 of the way down the mountain and the brakes stopped working. I had to bail out before I got to a switchback and the bike hit a tree and cracked the front fork. I got so upset that I just left the bike in the woods and walked the rest of the way down the mountain. That might actually be the last time I rode a bike because I found cars after that.

Hey Steve, forgot you had this side channel, think it's cool as a avid MTBer for the past 16 years, coming off a serious tech/computer/computer gaming addiction. Decent job getting all those different blues to match pretty well, really wish they had some form of standard for anodized colours so it was easier to use different brands and have colours match. Not sure if the photo you posted of the Jedi was recent, but that's a Cane Creek Double Barrel shock in the pic, not a Fox DHX. If you're looking for something to replace the Recluse and like "little" wheels and alloy, check out the Banshee Rune or Spitfire, both can run either 650B or 26" wheels.

When I had long hair I used Head n shoulders. But mostly because I worked demo and construction, and it was the only thing that would rather easily get sand, concrete dust, insulation, smelly fume'y grease and other crap like that out without 4-5 go's. I think the foam has a really hefty surface tension or something like that. It's really rough though, kinda like doing the dishes with IPA.

Hey Steve, I'll have to admit I did not watch this video, but am actually using it as a way to get in touch with you and hopefully filter myself through the trolls and other commenters that might not be worth responding to. And this one may be worth it either, but I am going to continue in hopes that you at least read it because I can't find a better way to get in touch with someone for a tiny bit of advice. I purchased a 3080 ti at launch, at best buy. I immediately dropped it in my rig, and it was running perfectly, up until last night. I shut down the computer, and then when I went to go boot it up again, my MB debug is hung on '98' (MSI Meg Ace z490). I put in my old card in (a 2080 super) and it booted up just like normal. So my questions are: 1. What would Steve Burke do? 2. Is there a way to get in touch with you/anyone on the team that doesn't entail commenting on year old posts on your personal YT channel that I can only hope you still get notifications for? Happy to explain more info over an email - you can reach me through my email benalbano@me.com. I was 31st in line at the best buy waterford, and intended on keeping this card for the next 5+ years if I need to. I've read horror stories about the Nvidia RMA process. Thank you and enjoy the weekend. Ben

Would you ever consider getting a motorcycle? The price for a really high end bicycle is almost the same as a used motorcycle or a brand new beginner bike.

Everyone I know that does MX makes this argument to me and I know the prices upfront are similar, but required maintenance is way different and it's also a totally different experience to ride MX vs mtb.

My friend has a Jedi. Sick bike! I ride a 2013 yt tues. Pretty good too :)
Suprised not to see a dropper post on your Jedi. Any reason for that? Bike tech development peaked around the same time as PC development (about 2012/3). What both industries have been giving us over the last five or six years has been minor tweaks each year.

It's really to bad there isn't a nonprofit group that helps say the disabled who are of lower income get their hands on the hardware to build their own computers. It would be great place to offload hardware that is no longer needed by reviewers. The same with "floor models" from retailers. It took me 2 years to build my rig so it was way out of date before I ever turned the power on.
