@@GirlNamedTom Hey kids, and yes, I'm old enough to be your mom, I want to tell you that when you sang Wichita Lineman, this woman was one hot mess of tears because it was done so beautifully. I"m sure Jimmy Webb would be proud because that is the tempo he always wanted for the song. My husband and I vote each week for you, and ONLY you, then tune in on Tuesday to make sure you've gone through. Our night is complete at that point. I'm thrilled to see your catalog of music already on KZbin because people now know your name. It wasn't until your audition that I learned your name, and I love your music so much. The songs y’all don’t have on an album like ‘Work Ain’t Work’, ‘Simple Song’, ‘Backup Plan’, and ‘The Run (Good Good People)’, I REALLY hope y’all release it on a future album of yours soon!! I know ‘Backup Plan’ is released as a single, but it’s NOT part of an album of yours. Also ‘The Run (Good Good People)’ got me thinking, I may NOT have been a fan in the beginning, because I didn’t know y’all UNTIL ‘The Voice’, and y’all were a band BEFORE ‘The Voice’, BUT I’ll DEFINITELY be a fan UNTIL THE END. I LOVE listening to you guys perform! It's such calming music :) Would it be possible for you guys to cover the hymn In the Garden? I lost my grandpa recently, and we sang this hymn at his funeral. Can you three wonderful people listen to Who Knows Where the Time Goes and consider covering it? On the subject of simple songs. Songs, at least well-crafted ones, are, I think. not so simple with respect to their import, anyway. They are, in my estimation, a sort of back door into the mind of the listener. Yip Herberg, the lyricist for"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" said, "Music makes you feel feelings; lyrics make you think thoughts; songs make you feel thoughts.”
