On today’s flight we get the extra bonus of a go-around. We were fighting some thick cloud cover, and when attempting the first landing, the pilots were unable to make visual contact with the runway when they hit their minimums. So a go-around was performed, and we made a second attempt, with a tailwind, on a different runway that has a better ILS system with lower minimums. It’s not the most exciting go-around of all time because of the cloud cover, but still a bit more than usual! Anyways, I thought I’d give a little back story this flight. Enjoy! 41:48 large flock of birds pretty close to the aircraft. I never really heard the engine throttle back up on the go around, but realized it when the slats and flaps began retracting.

I experienced a go around while attempting to land in DCA, “ Washington D.C.” and it was so windy and if felt like a roller coaster and before touching the runway like 700 ft we got banked to far to the left and then we went around. The flight was from Fll-DCA JetBlue e190

That's awesome my friend. I'm always surprised to see how many times there are other people on my flights that end up finding them on here. The seating change was because SkyWest Airlines, the airline operating the flights into JLN for American at this time, has two different seating layouts for the same type of plane. So when you book the tickets American uses the layout that most of the CRJ-700s have because they won't know until the day of the flight which layout the SkyWest aircraft has. It's kind of annoying for the passengers, and it's really annoying for the agents who have to work the flight. Thanks for watching my friend!
