I ended up dealing with Herbert at Evertune and was sure to mention that your video brought the guitar to my attention. Pink/Purple straps are hard to come by, but I found a decent Purple leather. It’ll probably be Autumn before we know it. Thanks HP, thanks Herbert.

Great little device. What about us who are running WDW? At the end of the day everyone expect us to buy 3 load boxes for bedroom playing. Great review as always. In ideal world only germans should be allowed to make reviews and quality analysis. You are definitely on another level in that field. Hat of sir.

Hi. If you would want to play your favorite amps and have the best tube sound and feel through the headphones, what would you pick, this or the OX?
@HEZ63
@HEZ63 9 ай бұрын
A "must have", if you want to get your tube amp signal to line level. Much more authentically sounding than the AMT and Torpedo Capture solutions. Especially the Captures did not convince me at all sonically and made the sound much too worse. A lot of features for creating best sounding results, but a little confusing maybe without using the manual first, as the controls, which affect the different connections, not necessarily are self-explanatory. But once, you have found out, which combinations work, an almost perfectly well working tool. Not really cheap, to be honest, even more expensive than most of my tube amps, but you anyway only need it once. Also nice, that you can even fine-tune your loaded cabinet IR's. I usually pre-mix them in Super Cabinet, which also offers a very useful graphic display and the rest is easily done within the Fryette then.

This is a very dumb question to ask but I'm completely new to IR's and loadboxes, so just to be absolutely sure: This is made to work with completely silent recording right? I can run 100 watt tube amps directly into this at full volume and the only noise produced will be coming out of my headphones if they're the only thing plugged into an output and there will be zero damage to the amp? Latency has kept me away from amp sims and IR loadboxes in the past, this could finally be the box that lets me start recording with tube amps at home

@@EytschPi42 Hello, maybe again dumb question but I'm gonna shoot it anyway. Regarding playing with beast 100W amp using headphones. How could I set volume for headphones? Is it only volume know at amp control or do we have more options. I'm asking because for example mentioned Plexi (or JCM800) could generate too loud signal for headphones to handle. By the way, I follow your channel about 6 years by now. I learned from you tons of knowledge about equipment, professional home studio. Also about checking, verifying guitar quality. I would like to say that I am very grateful for all this knowledge. Keep on RocKing!

My Wi-Fi does not work and trying to get help is like getting blood from a stone. Question...could you put this together with the Power Station, and if so, what would those connections be? Thanks, Henning.

I'm in another situation. My 50w tube amp sounds great at 6. But it is always a little bit too loud at that sweet spot. So I am looking for a small good quality attenuator that can knock off a little dB from the amp. Don't need any fancy stuff. Small, good quality, small attenuation. Anyone with an idea?

Tone King IronMan II Mini Power Attenuator. However, at 6 you are hearing both amp played loud and speaker pushed. With the attenuator you'll loose the latest.

I am pretty sure you can't do it in stereo into the daw. I think the FX are only for the headphone out. BUT... you could run the IR output into your delay and reverb and then run that into your interface and just wired them behind the PowerLoad IR.

@@EytschPi42 While I have absolutely no doubt the Ox sounds absolutely fantastic. My biggest question is this. The Ox simulates 3 cab/mic/pre/room set ups with adjustable reverb and compression that you can mix. This obviously should result in a more finished and better sound. How does it stack up compared to something like the IR loader if you were to process the IR loader with compression and run it through something like the UAD ocean way room?

A6400, several dedicated Video Cams.... Action Cams... So the short story is... Making these videos in the quality that I make them in is NOT CHEAP and takes a lot of work. FYI: The "Flat" settings make it a resistive load. Pretty much always the middle or top positions just plain sound and feel better. Not in love with this unit's design. The preset management, while requiring no extra apps seems pretty archaic. What happens if you cram more files into the same folder? Does it just pick by name? The factory IRs, while not available anywhere else afaik don't have a whole lot of mic options. The bank/preset is pretty confusing to look at visually but the preset toggle is nice. PS. Can you come out of this unit into the cab m+ into the recording interface? And this might seem like a silly question but how is the headphone level controlled for one, and if your 100 watt amp is cranked is the volume controlled through the daw? I don’t gig anymore and want to utilize my amps in my studio without losing tone or shaking my house. I’m on the fence between this unit and the power station.
