My tips for this since I started feeling more comfortable finishing tunes, especially for my atmos/jungle tunes is the “super loop” as well, BUT I actually start it by finding my core elements. For jungle this is Drums, pad, and bassline. After I get those 3 locked in, I go back to the intro, and build to the Main loop. I usually call it the “beef” of the track but super loop sounds cooler. Then I will decide if I want a bridge/buildup again after the main section, and build a B section “super loop” to take me towards my outro!! Then, after getting that done with my core elements, I start to look for fun ear candy to throw on top! It’s a lot easier to audition for stuff (for me) after I have my foundation built 😊 Happy jamming gang! 🎉❤

The WOSRT thing you can do is using a reference to arrange your own track.. use your feeling, introduce the element you feel sounds better on your track.. many of the times you use a reference to arrange your track you kinda block your own creativity by trying to mimic that reference track and by doing this you end up introducing wrong elements at a wrong time for your track because your song and the reference track are different.. stop blocking your own creativity.. go by your feelings.. trust your instincts.. Trust me, once you get this you'll never stop.. you'll enjoy music Production so much.

Strongly disagree with this - "trust your instincts" won't help somebody who is just starting out and has no idea how to arrange a track. Sure, once you've produced dozens of tracks, using a reference track to map out your arrangement might not be useful anymore. But when you're just getting started, it's one of the best ways to have some sort of guide for your track. And you can always deviate from it when you want, so it's a win-win :)
