Those tires are already equivalent to drag radials. On a smaller scale, besides i think if you try to go much bigger it probably require more fab work? An furthermore it would probably conflict with the rotating mass?

Prefer 250+cc engines in cross karts or buggies, not saying its not fun more the danger side when you only have an inch or two vs 5"+ to the ground. Not to mention finding tyres that suit 9-12k rpm and 100+mph is kinda hard

boltonky I’m going to have to disagree with that. On a sealed kart track, there are no bumps to deal with so no “danger” plus my and everyone else’s KZ2 shifter kart rev to 15K and go up to 150kmph on short tracks and 180 on long ones. Don’t know what that is in freedoms per Americans

Ive been looking for engines for months and belive it or not 500cc and up are the most readily avalible, and the cheapest engines you can get people try to sell there 120ccs or 250ccs for $500 were i just got a 500cc kawasaki vulcan running for $150 it makes no sence to me, but i imagen this is how most of these builds were created

The one thing I cant stand about all the shifter Kart videos is donut after donut. All the same ... everyone. Yes we already know when you strap a R motor to a go kart frame it has so much power and so low to the ground it will do donuts. The good videos are running these things on a track or around town.
