I honestly have mixed feelings about this relationship. I loved them in the anime, but after what Akihiko did to Haruki… I know I wouldn’t even want to be *near* someone who did that to me, much less date them. Even if they had changed, that doesn’t just erase what they did and the way it made me feel.

Same but as much as i remember for haruki the problem wasnt akihiko touching him without his consent but rather it was akihiko hiding things from haruki. Without explaining anything and relying on him akihiko decided to do whatever he wanted. But if i was haruki i also would feel the same way you described and wouldnt want them in my life too.

That's what makes this anime a little more realistic IMO. Relationships are messy. They aren't perfect. I don't condone what Aki did, but he realized his mistakes and tried to change and become a better person. Haruki was trying his best to get over him, but the heart wants what the heart wants. At the end of the day, the ball was in Aki's court since Haru wanted to leave the game. It's one of those situations where if you TRULY loved the person you would do your best to give the best version of yourself.

@@JickAudio your right, at least he didn't flinch or is was that deeply traumatize to reject or fully cut him off by what he did to him. Ive see a couple of cases in real life where the victim is left with a form of trauma/ptsd from those they trusted or in vulnerable state alone/drugged,etc. Some don't trust or act the same around others after such breach.
