The stock wheel was never designed for speeds above 30MPH. An old high speed trick we did back in the day was to super glue the tire onto the rim, that or aftermarket bead locking rims is another way.

GoPeds are made in the USA with high quality materials and craftsmanship and should never be confused with a cheaper low grade scooter from some place else. But even a GoPed can fail is mistreated, used in ways it was not designed for, and/or not maintained properly.

I have a GSR Sport with the GZ25N23 nd have a few problems with it. It starts but stops at random times and it doesn't start up unless i spray carb cleaner on the air filter.

The G24LH engine came stock with a non adjustable carb so it really depends on the engine model and carb you have. Good news for you if you have a non adjustable carb because that means your carb is more then likely not our of adjustment and maybe the carb just needs to be clean out real good.

Didn't the carb on the older GSR Sport models only had the idle screw cuz my carb has the idle screw only. i might change the spark plug, fuel, and clean the air filter. thx for the tips though.

Maybe the air filter is dirty, the fuel is mixed improperly, the fuel is old and bad, the sparkplug is fouled or warn out, and or the carburetor mixture jets are out of adjustment, but also check to insure there are no engine screws that may have gotten a little loose while you check each possable issue.

Just got new sport goped, engines turns off when rear wheel touches the ground, can only start it when rear wheel is not touching ground. Please help with any advice.

That’s how it is supposed to work. The engine’s crank shaft is moving the wheel so the wheel will not stop unless the engine shuts off. The way to start it is to get it warm the way you usually do, then try to ride it like a manual scooter and the engine should start up. Just stop the engine when you want to stop, and roll again when you want to go. Make sure to start the engine on choke and then to run after maybe 15 seconds only when the engine is cold if you didn’t know already. I hope I helped. :)

Eu moro aqui no Brasil e a pouco tempo adquiri um gooped 29cc... eu também tinha essa mesma dúvida de ligar com a roda levantada é quando eu parava o motor desligava... mas infelizmente é caracteriza do patinete, não tem o que fazer.
