I liked that you didn't identify A and B first so that there was no unconscious bias. The handheld B is clearly the smoothest on every clip. However the era of alternative facts is alive and well with some 'seeing' things differently from what is actually there IMO.

Very helpful. I'm looking for something to wear when sightseeing. Even though it's not as smooth, I think the chest mount may be my best option from a safety and security perspective. It's not as easy to steal a chest-mounted GoPro as it is to snatch a Handler out of my hand.

I could immediately see more bounce on A (chest mount), pretty clear difference, but for convenience as opposed to walking with your arm out for any length of time, may be worth it? Would need to try for myself I guess!

Yep the gimbal is the best, but people may be uncomfortable with a you holding it out in front. My suggestion is to use a DJI Osmo cam. Point it out and turn it on so the cam points out. And just hold it on your non-dominate hand on your side. It's discreet, most people don't look down, most people won't recognize it for a cam. It's good system to walk-film in less wealthy areas.

maybe I have different leg lengths cause when I'm walking with chest mount the video sways side to side slightly

They both have some bounce, more so on pavement, B is slightly less bounce. Most people bounce when they walk, some more than others, so I think the effects could be different depending on how you walk. Like can you do the gimbal walk without bouncing.

I came to a similar conclusion. Chest mount has more bounce. Your arm seems to remove some of that.

I always use 60 fps. I just like the way it looks. I go with 1080p mainly because it take too long to edit 4K files with my computer. One day I'll move up to 4K-60fps.
