Do you see the detail improvement over the Hero 7/8's 4K? KZbin kills the detail even in 5K playback. First protune native flat with low sharpness test from H9, thank you for that!

Yeah I know, KZbin really doesn't do the footage any favours. The 5k bump from the 8 and 7 is just about noticeable but only really if pixel peeping, it's a bonus to have the extra resolution if editing in 4k as you have the ability to crop in 35%ish, so that's nice. Thanks for comment, all the best 👍

Hey nice Test Footage i am just wondering how u hold the GoPro. Do you just have it in your hands or hold it with a Stick?
@JonathanJScottFilms4 жыл бұрын
Just a very basic, non extending stick, it's about 4 inches long so fits in the palm of my hand

@@JonathanJScottFilms Do you have a linkt to that stick ?
Hey man cool video, I've noticed for some reason my footage looks grainy/blurry. I run h.265 with high bitrate, but it doesn't look clear and smooth like yours. Any tips? Just got a gopro in august
@JonathanJScottFilms4 жыл бұрын
Does it look like that when you upload it to KZbin or when your viewing files on you pc? KZbin is not friendly to GoPro footage and reduces the quality a lot. When viewing on your PC you need a very modern high powered pc to view h.265 footage as it's very resource intensive. Hope that helps.

Haha yeah it's a good question. I've been doing it for a few years and know the terrain well. Despite that a level of caution is still required...glad you enjoyed the video. 👍
