For me, it’s USA who did it better. Perfect harmony, timbre and control, timing and sustain, all were evident! Philippines did great but there were some flaws with the note and harmony. But, both have different strength!

I'm a Filipino but I would say the first group which is from the USA is better. The rendition is superb as well as the blending of their voices. It may seem simple but singing the song in acapella made me appreciate the song and the performance more profoundly. In fairness to the Filipino group, the emotion as it could always be observed in every Filipino performer is highlighted in the group's performance.

If you want to compare such rendition ...they must be the same ..a capella vs a capella..contemporary vs contemporary..but to sing a capella with more voice harmony is more complex than singing harmony with accompaniment.

The excessive facial expressions and body movements of Filipinos annoyed me. I cannot focus listening to their vocals because they are doing to much facial and gestures, it looked theatrical which is not always pleasing. Their vocals sounded restricted because their face muscles and neck were already stiff from the beginning. Again, vocal first before any hand movements etc. USA looked relaxing and pleasing because they did not do too much movements while singing, they are mainly giving us vocals instead of these unnecessary faces.

Contest po kc ung sa pinoy kya may hirit sa dulo for dynamics. Masakit sa tenga kc walang bass at baritone para magtunog bilog. Yung USA kc apat at 4 voices at ang areglo mula una ang hanggang dulo may blend at harmonies kya masarap sa tenga. Di nangangahulugan masakit sa tenga mali na. Basta tama sa tuno ok yun. Bka sa i adjust sa placement para maging swabe.

❤The Philippines was colonized by Americans, and Philippines/ Filipinas were colonized by Spaniards. Now you know, hahaha! For this , pH are more expressive in the way they sing, and three of them can sing well, not just in harmony. Their vocal renditions create their own versions rather than simply copying the original, which demonstrates great technique. USA - they're freakin' awesome! Their voices are like, off the charts, but only one of 'em goes full-on belter. The rest are just slayin' the harmonies. Muchas gracias!
