Right on time! I was telling God how I wanted to be obedient and observe the Sabbath. He gave the opportunity to me today and I was totally blind to it. Complaining about how much work I could've been doing but somehow couldn't get around to. It's 1:08 am and I am finally realizing that today was my gift and the kick off to my obedience. Thank you Father, for your leading. I am so sadly lost without you!!! Great encouragement De'Von!!

Omg! I been going through this very thing. I have been wanting to pursue an acting career at Kansas State (I am now 20) but I had no experience. I soon began to grow deeper in my faith and realized I couldn't take on roles or auditions that weren't of God. God meant more to me and I couldn't go out in a negative light. Right now my major is communications and my minor is theater because I figured communications could be my lea way into the acting industry. I am still finding my purpose though. I am president of a gospel choir here at Kansas State called United Black Voices. I believe this is one of my many purposes.
