Yes, its the skeleton of a Saguaro cactus from the Sonora desert in Arizona. They are expensive there too.

The piece you called driftwood is the "skeleton" of a Saguaro cactus. Saguaro cactus live for over 150 years and do not normally branch out until they are 75 years old or older. Saguaro's only live naturally in certain parts of Arizona and California but with special permits might be used in landscaping.

My Mum has Carltonware, I would say the lobster bowl is from the fifties, so quite old.😊Just checked and I was right about the decade, it is rare,worth at least $35 and collectable and out of stock on every platform I looked at hope you got it!

The cactus can be very expensive and some are protected on certain properties. Normally they are sold by people with private properties in very small pieces. That's a pretty big piece. Love them they are beautiful especially with some stones attached. xoxo

My dad used to pick up driftwood and sell it for extra money all the way back in the 60s. He even sold the small pieces to florists. Certain pieces do go for good money, especially if they'll make a table base.

The kangaroo is from 56. It's a men's caddy. I have one that my mom bought 40 years ago. The tail is for a watch the pouch for rings and the slit for a wallet.

That Carlton Ware lobster bowl with the cabbage leaf tends to sell for anywhere between $40 and $60 so tell Drew to go back and get it! Carlton Ware lobster items have a good resell turn over for profit.
