Slot's best attribute is that he has improved Gravenberch, Konate, Diaz, Gakpo, and yes Salah by a lot. Slot's Liverpool is taking less risk and players who shone in Klopp's system (Trent, Szoboszlai, and Nunez) have sacrificed their productivity and ability to play in large spaces to the benefit of the team.

I’m just enjoying the Dutch influences in this Liverpool team. Van Dijk, the steady captain and one of *the* centre backs of this era. Gakpo. He’s doing really well too. I believe he’s been criticised in England a bit for not living up to his national team performances all the time, but he’s been one of the best attackers in the league. Gravenberch. As an Ajax supporter, I’m so glad he’s doing his thing at the very top. It was obvious that he was good. Bayern didn’t give him the game time. Klopp didn’t give him that much time either, but I believe that season did help Gravenberch mesh with the team. Slot. He was a bit of a pain for me, as an Ajax fan, but in a respectable way. He’s a good manager and, from what I know, he just seems like a great guy in general. His man management is great. He’s put that to the test before the eredivisie and he has again in England. He’s used the players that were already there. The squad Klopp left him gave him an incredible foundation to build from, but it was up to Slot to transform that foundation into something more. He has. I would never cheer too early, though. The season has been impeccable for Liverpool thus far, but nothing is in the bag just yet. But I trust the Reds will be able to keep their momentum for the most part and I’m certain they’ll win something.
