On the Joe Roberts one I was amazed. I felt that on a personal level. I have an amazing dad. My parents are divorced and one day my mom married my ex stepdad. He was an abusive alcoholic. They have gotten divorced by now but when I was 7-11 I was told I was worthless, a pain, stupid, and that I would never amount to anything. Now I’m living my best life. I realized that for those four years I was surviving. Just lasting another day, month, year. Not living. So after that I chose to live. No regrets just live. So my advice is don’t just survive, live and thrive. Like Katy Perry once said in her song Rise “I won’t just survive, oh you will see me thrive.” Sorry if this was confusing. Thanks if you made it this far. P.S. you’re worth it

If you fail or screw up you need to forgive yourself and move on & continue pushing forward and do it fast. There is no time to get stuck up & hold resentment towards yourself. Here is a tip: Forgive yourself cause you DIDN'T KNOW any better. You acted from what you KNOW and what you have been TAUGHT. You are not perfect, but you are for sure LEARNING! I failed the first business that I spent over 2 years building and it took a toll on me. But now I have recovered and started my youtube channel and even though not many watch me I keep pushing. My goal remains the same as 3 years ago, the method is just different. Get back up people and keep at it!

We all have the choice to be who we wish to be and act the way we want to, especially now that it is part of our civilised human race (i'm pretty sure our ancestors had ways to uplift their younger generation). Spoken words have changed human history. Activists like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Elizabeth Cowell, Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela and the list goes on; I am positive that you have heard of, at least, one of these people throughout your life. Great stories. So pretty much this is really about stacking gratitude and finding all the gems that exist in the mud. Like for example the amputee. Sure looks terrible but let's stack gratitude. That guy will now get totally looked after by the military. Full salary, full benefits, full care. This is luxury compared to most in India and China. Not only that but lovely wife and kids and mentors plus on sure tons of other stuff. See not so bad. It's all about the hidden gems. Stop looking at the marks next time you look out the window.

There is so much stigma that surrounds suicide so I really just want to let the world know that it is ok to let the pain show. It may be our only way to escape the the pain if we try to help others by reaching out as much as we can to prove to ourselves that we do have a purpose in life by helping ourselves and others but we have to be willing to try cuz in life there is so much more to see and love ad never suffer our regrets more than we already do or maybe never again but we have to be willing to try

The person who said that they adopted a kid got me crying I'm adopted but I felt so alone and I don't have a mom and I felt like I was the only one who could feel like this I'm glad she took a kid in and showed that kid life. Orphanages aren't as amazing as they seem on TV kids get bullied and hurt every single day so I'm glad that she saw the opportunity to adopt a kid.

My mom bought me too big spikes for track in 8th or 9th grade. I told her the coach said to make sure they fit. She got bigger ones and said I'd grow into them. Guess my feet had different ideas. They stopped growing. Thirty years later they still wouldn't fit but I don't run track now. You may not need to grow into shoes if life puts you on a different track.
