I am going to give this a try. I hurt my mcl and l am convinced it is because l sit my butt down in my butterfly. Now after weeks of rehab I noticed a slight ting in my knee following a butterfly and then conscientiously noting hey sit up. I see a real link and key to this 60 year old goalie's salvation. I'll let you know how it goes and thanks by the way for all your advice over the years

I have one more question Maria...actually, when I do Active Hip Flexor exercize on your program I can feel the bundle of muscles but no tender spot. When I roll a bit, I get nearly to the same spot than in TFL where I got a very good tender spot. is it normal? does it have to be this way because I do not seem to find any other tender spot!
@goalietraining2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is fine for sure, we will all feel it in different spots - the fact that you feel it in the TFL suggests that maybe you are using (overusing) your TFL to flex your hip maybe? Maybe work on this activation drill for your hip flexors to see if you notice a difference. Push for about 5s and do 5 on each side. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJbZpWB_mraql7s

Hello, I have a question. I want to know if there is a bib for goalkeepers. On the internet I don't see if there is a difference between boys and girls. Peto = Chest. Chest protector. I don't know how to translate it. I use google translate. I'm sorry. Thanks
@goalietraining3 жыл бұрын
I don't think there are female specific chest protectors - I am not aware of one.

Great video. Not a strength issue; nor a conditioning issue; but a muscle memory issue. Btw, that was a rad hoodie (with the goalie silhouette). Help a goalie Dad out... where can we get such a garment?

Interesting...funny i seem to have more balance on the right side than on the left for my first time exercise (on the last exercise)...I assume it needs practice...Funny thing, during my last training, I did not pay attention to my flare at all but focused on trying to break the habit of sitting on my butt and I must admit it has paid...I seem to have stopped more shots standing quite tall, not even paying attention to my flare...but it is a habit to break to keep resting on one's butt.
@goalietraining2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, sitting back isn't usually a strength or mobility issue, it is just a bad habit.

Not even really conditioning in the 'strength and conditioning' sense - but in the habit conditioning sense.
