This is coming out at a perfect time for me. The struggles I am facing right now have left me teetering on the edge of suicide. I've faced a lot of what now is banal and insignificant but I've seen dark times. The time I am currently in is so dark that it is arduous to even believe that light exists, but I am holding on. My faith in God has kept me going and so has Devin's gorgeous music. I've had 'Moonpeople' on repeat since he released it. Even though I cannot see it, I know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, that there IS and end to the tunnel. Stay strong, you are loved! ♥

Devy’s album Ghost has saved my life more then once, and is looking like this Album is going to really Special as Well! I genuinely believe Music heals and can save you from that dark edge, and Depression Cherry by Beach House is another album that has also saved my life, and I wanted to Share it With You ❤

This is the reason he says 'Stop It' in the middle of Moon People. Its self referential, as the music then is just inching towards the chaos or 'ugliness' as he puts it. And then it gets back on track 😁

Yeah that break in the song hit me really hard, given how Dev is, I was just waiting for the chaos to break out, then it didn't... And don't get me wrong. I love some of his chaotic work but this was so beautiful, then it just kept coming, it's like getting a slice of cake, then getting another slice. I CAN HAVE TWO? Can't wait for the cake album 🙏

At the VERY beginning of the pandemic literally Quarantine first day/week, Devin released a true Beacon of Light, a true "lighthouse" a true glimmer of HOPE in one of the scariest and darkest unknown times for the entire planet, and that exquisite ethereal masterpiece was Quarantine Project #1 on day 1 which I think was March 17th 2020? Can anyone confirm this? Anyway the word is that song is SOBER on the new album and I plan on listening to that in beautiful times, sad times, scary times, and beautifully heartbreaking redemptive times, basically all times. Love it, thank you Dev! I do hope it is the original song/demo version! Anyone know?
