Note:
I have used 240ml measuring cup to measure rice rava, jaggery, scrapped coconut and water.
instead of rice rava, you can use barik rava/semolina.
Baking timing may vary depending upon the flame.
you can bake it in preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Method for rice rava,:
*wash rice with water for atleast 3-4 times.
*drain out water completely.
*spread rice on cotton cloth for drying.
*Grind rice until it turns like barik rava. Do not turn into a powder/flour.
measure into a cup as required.

The same recipe is prepared in the Sindhudurga district of Maharashtra as well. It is usually prepared with big size cucumbers, which are available in monsoon (Shravan) season.

Hi, sorry for late revert.... To decrease the timing just stir mixture to make it more thicker and directly bake it in heavy bottom cooker or vessel on stove top (without placing tawa) on low flame for around 15-20 minutes....

Raw rice.... to be ground as fine as barik rava/semolina..... Just wash rice thoroughly, dry completely and then use it.

Use rice rava Or barik rava (regular) and if using mota wheat rava then u need to add extra 1 cup of water.....
