The only reason Goat games take hours is because they can't read their pre-PSCT cards and have to call a judge that isn't there at the moment because they don't realize you can't activate Just Desserts on an empty field.

i always wonder how goat players solve rulings issues since konami has had no interest in them and their format for almost 2 decades, do they follow rulings from forums from 2005? or just agree collectively how a card should work?

Old formats like goat often have collected sources of what official rulings for cards were at the time on the internet. Beyond that it would be up to a judge

Its more like these cards have been solved for years. People in 2005 already knew you can not activate Just Desserts when there are no monsters on field. Its just an incompetent duelist. All the rulings that are here today also apply to GOAT format for except i think Priority (and the master rules of course)

You Db judges told me I had to play slower after waiting 2 minutes for him to negate a reborn after I declared because he responded think. For 2 whole minutes bwfore i resolved. What is the time limit for waiting for response. Because nobody had time to wait that long for someone to chose a response.

this generally isnt allowed in most TCG events with prizing, as it turns it into a game of chance and can make the event run afoul of local gambling laws, so it is prohibited. MTG does the same for similar reasons.

Tbf your judgement on just desserts and ojama was probably wrong. The legal rules of goat goes until August 05 and the next year there were changes to game mechanics and rules. One of those being the "legal card activation" . Activate roa,thunder dragon or meta while you have no target was a legal play. With that in mind I am not sure if you were right.

All the good/decent players are playing modern Yugioh (not arguing which format is better...there's just actual prizes that you can play for and it's actually officially sanctioned). Goat format reeks of b00mer energy and washed up players. I love Goat format, but I had to stop playing it for several reasons. I've run into too many who have the annoying combination of arrogance and incompetence. It just wasn't worth the headache.

Bad judge honestly. No matter if the insults actually hurt the person, insulting someone is poor sportsmanship. One ruling like these can cause further issues with name calling and if actually hurt someone actually, which is completely subjective.
