Dorwinion lost this battle for the defenders you are to kind Umad, they needed to close off the back narrow choke ( Harad walked right in ) and help Dol A. keep the bridge crossing under control not sit up on the back hill till it was to late.

Abysmal defence, the map is one of the most defensible maps in the game and somehow the defenders were not prepared for a full on attack....

who is better 1 on 1 nimlofian honor guard or gwaith-i-arthand?

I think if you talking 1v1 Can't See the Honor Guard Losing due to them being the ones with AP while all other stats are at least close enough to the Gwaith but in general depends on what you want, if you just want All Out Defense just a unit being there and holding as long as possible no matter what's fightning/shooting them then Problably Gwaith are the best ones but if you want a unit that's pretty close to being as good as them at that but having more of a offensive/damage edge, Especially against Armored Factions/Units then it's The Honor Guard.

Nimlotheans on most other units would be more effective killing them off than the gwaith since they're ap but if its one on one vs the gwaith they'd still loose simply bc of noldor vs man skill issue

Hmm, while I love Imladris the most, I don't particulary like the rest of their team. And the defenders are among my favs... I don't know who to root for.

Would love to see the battle replayed without the artillery; battle was great when it finally took off, but it was a slog to get to real action.

I would have used that ballista a little more loosely & hit the immortals with 1-2 volleys Hit the Duneland slingers with 1-2 volleys. Then, start committing, bc otherwise you have all that ammo, but struggle to use it
